We had a FREEKIN blast this past weekend at the Nantahala🤘🏽Over 35 of us on the Lower Saturday and one very special first descent on the Upper Sunday😎

Had an absolute blast starting off the Ocoee Progression Series with the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club for the second year in a row🥳🤘🏽

This year we have four wonderful women in the class and I only wish I was as capable as they are at the start! Y’all did fantastic and it’s going to be one bad ass summer😎🔥🤘🏽🥳

TIME TO GET THE KIDDOS BACK ON THE WATER🥳🫵🏽 Sutter is 11 and, like many of us, has a reservation about flipping over under water. For that reason, we put him in a spud over the past year to build confidence as well as breed familiarity with the river. It WORKED! He’s been surfing, eddy hopping and even participated in his first race!

This year, he has decided that he wants to get back in a whitewater kayak and learn his ROLL by the end of the summer!

Our plan is to work with him on getting more comfortable being under water first. Then moving to the next steps in the process! WISH HIM LUCK and we’ll keep y’all updated on his journey🥳🤘🏽So proud of this guy🥳😎
