Cameron’s Nu-Look Collision Microd chassis is looking mean in black! He will begin his rookie campaign this year as the fourth generation driver to wheel a car for Mills Motorsports! We are excited to join the Tri County Microd Club this year and see how Cam does making his way around the track!
Oh, and Brian’s got some soup simmering on the stove too, stay tuned!
It's strange the things you miss the most when you're not racing... Yeah sure I miss driving the car and working on it, but my son has an app on my phone, Mechanic Mike, and every Friday like clockwork that game will have a car horn beeping at 5:10 with a notification that said "broken cars everywhere! Better get to the garage and fix them!" It would always go off right before we got to the track... It became sort of a game for my dad (Garry Mills) and myself to guess the exact moment it would go off. I miss that right now.
For Sale, good car!
Should be ready to hit the track next week!
[03/22/16] We are only 21 likes away from 500! When we get to 500 we will do a random give away. We will have some cool Mills Motorsports racing memorabilia to give away! More details to come!
We've been busy getting the body built, this is our first year making our own body, we cut, bent, and fabricated it all except for the roof! Now to get the front end and motor put in. Thanks to the whole crew for helping get this together; Garry Mills, Jerry Campbell and Anthony Oralls..
[02/13/16] Update: we are getting the new body laid out and bent for the car. It will be our first year making our own body, but we remain confident in our ability to do an awesome job. The rear end has been reinstalled as well as fuel cell and lines. This years version of the Mills Motorsports Shaw #75 is gonna be awesome, stay tuned for updates on the body building process!
Getting some newer, straighter bars installed. Big thanks to Joe Donahue III for the expertise.
Merry Christmas to all!
And as he sped out of sight, I heard him exclaim, more horsepower for all, and for all more rear bite! Merry Christmas to all! ~ Mills Motorsports
We would like to take the opportunity to thank our 2015 sponsors one more time for making racing a possibility! We are also pleased to announced that all these great sponsors will be with us next year! We are looking forward to the 2016 season, our plan is to try to run regularly on Friday night at I-88 Speedway and the occasional Saturday appearance as necessary. We will also be unveiling next years graphic design soon too!
Nekkid racecar! Plans already in the works for next year!
[11/28/15] All of us at Mills Motorsports would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to Jim Gould and the Gould family. Jim and family are in our thoughts, Godspeed.
Happy Birthday to best stock car owner there is, Garry Mills! As awesome as it is to drive for him on the weekends, it's even better all week when we're putting it back together from whatever I did to it last week... If you've ever parked within 50' of us at a track you know what a good guy he is, it's even better knowing him as my dad, happy birthday old man! ~ Brian, Lindsay, Cam, and Addison
How we feel after this weekend at the Point... Broke the linkage in the transmission when car jumped outta gear after getting knocked around a bit... Didn't finish feature, we'll clear our minds and get ready for the next one!

Broke J Bar qualifying, had start in the back for the feature. We had a pretty fast car tho, even if it pushed just a bit, and brought it home 6th!
[07/18/15] COME OUT AND SEE US TODAY AT THE DEPOSIT LUMBERJACK FESTIVAL! The Mills Motorsports team will have our Larry Shaw built IMCA Modified on display during the car show/sidewalk sales. Later on we will be participating in the parade. Don't miss it!
[07/18/15] Grabbed an 11th place finish last night at I88. We were very loose in the heat, made some adjustments and had a much faster car when we started in 15th for the feature. Could really only pass in one corner.
[07/04/15] Well it was an eventful night for the Mills Motorsports crew at I88 tonight... While waiting to go out for our heat a sportsman rode up the front stretch wall and decimated a lighting pole. So our driver (who happens to be an electrician) and owner headed over to see if we could give a hand getting things squared away. With everybody's hard work we got as many lights back on as we could, and the Afton fire dept picked up the slack with their portable lights. We had the 1000w floods on the back of the trailer aimed out on the track. By the time we got the majority of the lights fixed it was time to go racing. We had no time to adjust so we ran our hot laps setup in the car, finished 11/15.
[06/27/15] Took the Mills Motorsports #75 to I88 Speedway tonight, started 7th in heat, was heading into corner hot, and semi blind due to the dust and sunlight and didn't see the pileup I front of me till it was too late to do much more than slide it in and not completely destroy the front end. Ended up bending and breaking a few bars and wrinkling some sheet metal, but we got band-aided together for the feature. Started 15th in feature, ended up in 11th. Spent most of the time in survival mode trying not to get caught up in any of the moving fracas around us. We got caught up with another car that went around on a restart and squished the bumper a bit. It was one of those nights we were just happy to be able to drive it to the trailer after the feature! Had a wonderful time with the fans during IMCA fan appreciation night!

[06/14/15] Tough night for the Mills Motorsports 75 at FMP tonight... Car went from too loose to too tight with the changes we made during the week, split the difference for the feature, but got caught up with another "inexperienced" driver and ruined a tire and rim. Back home to lick our wounds a bit, we will back at it next week!
[06/13/15] We will have the Tompkins Bluestone #75 IMCA modified in action tonight at Five Mile Point Speedway!
Oh yeah! The Mills Motorsports Shaw Modified is dressed up and looking good! We will be hitting the track on Saturday at Five Mile Point Speedway, and it's kiddie ride day too!

A little sneak preview of the car now! More pictures of the car fully wrapped to come. Thanks to Matt Roberts who designed this years wrap!
[05/24/15] Started 6th in the feature, car was faster in the heat, adjustments made it a bit too tight for the feature. Finished in 7th. Not bad for our second night with the Shaw chassis, we'll keep tinkering with her and hopefully keep getting faster. Next race on the Mills Motorsports schedule is Friday night at I-88 Speedway!
[05/23/15] Started 9th in the heat finished 6, will be starting 6th in the feature
[05/23/15] Loaded up and headed to Five Mile Point Speedway!
[05/16/15] The Mills Motorsports #75 made it's debut tonight at I-88 Speedway, and it definitely has the potential to be a really fast ride for us this year! Despite rain shortening the program, We were able to shake the car down tonight and just see what bugs we have to work out, all of which are pretty minimal... We started 7th in our heat and came in 5th position. Have to thank our sponsors for this year - Deposit Sanitary Service, Tompkins Bluestone, 3i Signs and Graphics, Mills Tree Service, Hill Farm and Cattle Trucking, and Two Rivers Well Drilling. Next time we are at I-88 the car will have some cool vinyl on it and look a little less like the IMCA version of the General Lee! A few tweaks to the Shaw chassis are in order, but pretty happy with the culmination of the hard work paying off!
Enough space to have our kids let loose and have fun! This will be a place where we can send our kids to express themselves freely, work on social skills
