Hello Mustangs Friends & Family! 🏒

Registration is open for our Skills & Drills program!

This season will look a little different than previous years, as regular ice time is not guaranteed. Our goal remains the same: keep kids skating, learning, and playing while we continue building hockey in our community.

Skills & Drills will take place right here in Winnemucca on rollerblades, giving our players the opportunity to continue developing throughout the season while we pursue additional ice opportunities.

Players will primarily focus on skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, game awareness, teamwork, and other hockey fundamentals. We’ll also incorporate 3-on-3 and small-area games whenever possible.

Our Skills & Drills Program will run January- February

💰 Registration: $100 per player

Registration includes:

✔️ Practice jersey
✔️ Season gear rental
✔️ End-of-season Knight Monsters game ticket

We may not have the season we originally pictured, but we’re not giving up on hockey. We’re adapting, keeping our kids moving, and continuing to build opportunities for hockey in our community.

Help us keep hockey in Winnemucca! 🏒💛🖤

As we prepare for another exciting Winnemucca Mustangs hockey season, we’re looking to add a few more coaches to our incredible volunteer team!

We’re fortunate to already have several dedicated coaches returning this season, but as our program continues to grow, we’re always looking for more people who want to make a difference in the lives of our players.

Whether you’re an experienced hockey player or simply passionate about helping kids learn, grow, and have fun, we’d love to hear from you. Our program is built on developing skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the game- and great coaches make all the difference.

📩 Interested in coaching this season? Send us a message or contact the Winnemucca Hockey Association for more information. We’d be happy to answer any questions and help you find the right fit.

Help us continue growing hockey in Winnemucca- one player, one practice, and one season at a time. 💛🖤🏒

Thank you so much for all the fun! Saturday was the first Winnemucca Hockey Association Slapshots & Sand Traps Fundraiser. The weather was a touch crazy, but those golfers powered through and made it a great event. Our first major fundraiser is in the books and was a tremendous success! Thank you all for coming out and supporting the youth hockey league!

Thank you to all of you who made our first golf tournament a success!
Special shoutout to our sponsors who helped make it happen ⬇️
We hope everyone had a blast- even if the weather did not want to cooperate with us!

Who has been following the Stanley Cup Playoffs?
Who saw Brayden McNabb’s gnarly shot to the face? & who saw that he’s back on the ice tonight 😳

We are excited to announce we’ll have a McNabb signed puck up for auction at our Golf Tournament in a few short weeks!

We have spots for just a few more teams to enter!
