What’s the secret to losing weight, gaining muscle, or completely changing your physique?
Consistency.
You will not get results from the work you do not do.
A really good pair of leggings doesn’t hurt either 😉
135 lb Power Clean PR. Not the prettiest lift, but I still got it 💪🏻

If you're having a hard time staying consistent with your training or nutrition, ask yourself before you decide, which option will get me closer to where I want to be?
Changing lifelong habits is HARD. You've lived your life a certain way for 20+ years so don't expect to change it overnight.
A new blog is up on my website. Head to the link in my bio to find out 4 ways you can change your habits for good 🙌

CON•FI•DENCE
"a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities."
I used to struggle with self confidence A LOT. I'm still working on it, but one thing that helped me become more confident was positive self talk.
We all do it - look in the mirror and instantly start picking ourselves apart. Pinpointing all the things we hate about our bodies. When you catch yourself doing this, tell yourself to s**u 🤚 and then say something positive about the part you were just focused on. Doing this repeatedly will help you focus more on what you love and hopefully help you focus on the positive 💙

First photo is February --> July 💪
Second and third are leg and ab progress from this weekend. I'm so proud of the work I've been putting in not only physically, but mentally.
I used to weigh 120 lbs. I'm currently sitting around 146ish. A few years ago, just the thought of gaining that much weight would make me spiral. I thought that the number on the scale defined me and found myself in an endless cycle. I would restrict, do tons of cardio, and weigh and measure myself every day until I'd get back to a number that I felt was acceptable and then go back to eating whatever I wanted and doing nothing. Then I'd weigh myself and start all over again.
Strength training saved me from my endless cycle of misery and gave me the confidence that I craved when I was younger. I no longer weigh myself every day (in fact, I don't even weight myself once a month), I have a healthy relationship with food and don't feel guilty when I eat, and I can appreciate my body no matter what stage I'm in.
I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm the healthiest I've ever been physically and mentally. And I'm proud of my body.

We all have an idea of what we're capable of achieving. How often are you pushing past those limits you've set for yourself? Whether it's your job, your workouts, or even just daily life, if you never test the boundaries of what you are really capable of, you will never reach your full potential.
I often hear people saying "I can't" or see people giving up at the first sign of difficulty. Especially in fitness, if you don't push yourself and work as hard as you can, you will not see the results you are hoping for.
How to push beyond your limits:
1. Have a support system 🙋♀️
2. Adjust your mindset 🧠
3. Accept bigger challenges than you think you're capable of 👊
4. Go towards the unknown 🌌
5. Work on improving your weaknesses 🏋♀️
