We run the Decode on professionals, athletes, and weekend lifters alike. One finding keeps repeating.
Most clients assume their plateau comes from a strength deficit. The diagnostic data usually says otherwise.
Restricted hip mobility shows up more often than any other limiter we track, and it quietly caps squat depth, hinge mechanics, and stride length long before fatigue does. A few things we look for during assessment: hip flexion range under load, asymmetry between left and right sides, and compensation patterns in the lower back during basic movement screens.
Once that limiter is identified, the Restore phase targets it directly instead of adding more volume on top of a compensation pattern. Strength work in the Rebuild phase tends to progress faster once the joint restriction is cleared.
The number doesn't lie. The plateau usually isn't about effort.
