I (Coach O) want to take some time to thank and congratulate Coach Kraig Daniels. Kraig unfortunately is stepping down as our 7th grade coach due to advancement in his career. We are proud of you and wish you nothing but success moving forward.
When it came to Kraig, everyone saw a passionate coach that connected with the kids and truly cared about them. What people did not see is the work Kraig put in outside of the gym. Kraig was constantly coming up with ideas as to how we could improve the program, and doing everything in his power to create the best experience possible for our athletes. All the team dinners, team building exercises, warm up shirts, and 8th grade banners were all Kraig. We shared a desire to not only help players improve their basketball skills and create a competitive program, but also to help these boys improve in the classroom and as people. This was something Kraig focused on heavily, helping create a program that kept athletes accountable on and off the court and putting the student before the athlete. Thanks to Kraigs dedication we have built a strong foundation for a successful program that we can build off of.
