Meet #9, Averie — our catcher, center fielder, resident artist, Dino Nuggie enthusiast, and the latest face in our Meet Velocity series.

She’s smart, creative, a little quirky, and just competitive enough to keep things interesting. We love that there’s a whole lot more to these girls than what happens between the lines — and Averie is a perfect example.

✨ PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: SOPHIA #11 ✨

Meet Sophia, one of our Velocity girls representing the Sequoyah Jr. League! ❤️🤍🩵

You’ll find Sophia holding it down at first base or in the outfield, always working to get better while making sure she never loses the love she has for the game. 🫶

Off the field, she loves reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family. Her playlist features Chandler Moore, her food of choice is definitely ice cream 🍦, and one day she hopes to travel the world! 🌎✈️

We love having #11 in the Velocity family and can’t wait to see where the game — and the world — takes her! ❤️🤍🩵

🥎 MEET VELOCITY: #33 RACHAEL❤️🤍🩵

Rachael is an 8th grader who holds it down at third base and in the outfield. Her softball goal this season? Send one OUT. OF. THE. PARK. 💣🥎 We’re definitely ready to watch that one happen!

When she’s not on the diamond, you can usually find her hanging out with friends or playing flag football. Her favorites include Djo 🎶 and, because she clearly has excellent priorities, PASTA! 🍝

But our favorite answer from Rachael might just be her life goal: ❤️ “Be successful in what makes me happy.”

We love getting to show you a little more of the personalities behind the uniforms. We can’t wait to see what this season has in store for you!❤️🤍🩵

Next up in our Velocity player introductions — Bailey!❤️🤍🩵

You’ll find #21 holding it down in left field or at second base, and she’s working toward becoming the kind of utility player you can put anywhere and trust to get the job done.

Off the field, Bailey is all about softball workouts, mission trips, hanging with her friends, and a solid bowl of mac & cheese. 🙌

But our favorite- Her life goal:
“I want people to look at me and see Jesus.” ❤️

Velocity 14U is looking for a few 2012/2013 athletes ready to compete, develop, and be part of a team that puts its players first.

We’re building a group of athletes who want to work hard, get better, compete together, and enjoy playing the game. We believe in coaching players up, holding them accountable, and creating an environment where they can grow with confidence.

As we build out our roster, we thought it would be fun to introduce — and reintroduce — the players who will be taking the field with us this season!

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be spotlighting our athletes one at a time so you can get to know the girls beyond the jersey — their personalities, favorites, big softball dreams, and even bigger goals off the field.

First up, is Reagan!

Reagan is a 7th grader who brings versatility to the field as a pitcher, shortstop, and center fielder. Her softball dreams are BIG: she hopes to one day play for the University of Alabama🐘 and ultimately go pro.

We’re excited to watch this roster come together and even more excited for you to meet the girls who make Velocity, Velocity.❤️🤍🩵

📚🍎 Happy Back-to-School, Velocity Family! 🥎

As another school year begins, we want to wish all of our athletes an amazing year in the classroom and on the field!

This fall, we’re giving our multi-sport athletes and those playing Metro ball the opportunity to fully enjoy and compete with their teams before we jump back into our Velocity practice schedule. We believe every opportunity to grow as an athlete is valuable, and we’re excited to cheer our girls on wherever they’re playing.

In the meantime, the work doesn’t have to stop! If your player is looking to sharpen her skills with private instruction—whether it’s hitting, catching, pitching, or fielding—we’re happy to recommend coaches we know and trust. Just send us a message, and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Keep working, keep growing! We can’t wait to get everyone back together this fall!❤️🤍🩵
