“Goals Beyond The Game” invites young artists of African descent in Worcester county to create artwork that celebrates Africa's powerful journey in world football (soccer) - from the historic 1966 FIFA boycott to the unprecedented moment of nine (9) African nations qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
The exhibition will be held on June 13, 2026, at the Jean McDonough Arts Center (JMAC) in Worcester.
Selected works will honor African identity, resilience, and unity through the lens of art and sport.
