Ever have a close call?? Almost tore up our new RV today. We have it stored in an inclosed unit. Got very close to the left side when we parked it a couple weeks ago. Today picking her up husband started to turn out and we realized we were at a bad angle and the awning was touching the interior wall of the unit. Husband is good at this stuff and he told me to check the passenger side just in time to see it touch. He was going slow enough it touched but did zero damage becasue he immediately stopped. We were smart enough to unhook the truck, reposition it at a good angle, reconnect and pull it out turning right to get the end to swing away from the wall. Definitely learned some lessons today.

It is almost time for another camping trip. We will be heading out to Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas for a 4 day weekend. One final trip before school starts. Has anyone been? It will be me and the kids first time to visit Arkansas. Husband has been before years ago.

Picked up this Jenga game along with a big wooden connect four game at Aldi's a couple weeks ago. What are some of your family's favorite games to play when you are traveling?

The pool at Dallas NE Campground last weekend for our trial run close to home. It is located in Caddo Mills right off of I30. Shaped like a teddy bear or as the kidscalled it, a gummy bear. Peaceful and clean campground.

What's been your favorite memory this summer in your RV? Mine is the day we picked up our 2022 GD Transcend Xplor 265BH on June 17th. Dreams do come true❤ This is our first RV so lots to learn but we couldn't be happier.
