*Got into an arm balance pose in yoga this morning.
*Made a charcuterie board for my family coming to visit.
*Squeezed into a very awesome rooster shirt that was made for my MeeMaw.
*Got my favorite bean rooster picture to hang up just like my MeeMaw had.

On a better note, we did get our We Workout Wednesday done this morning. One of us danced and one of us did something that resembled a baby deer on ice. I’ll let you decide who did what! 😆

Today’s adventures had me and Chad doing some stretching and mobility today.
*Note: Notice this is the first We Workout Wednesday in a couple of weeks because Chad is old and threw his back out tying his shoe. Mobility work is great for old people. 😆

Back to school after fall break….

*Did a Barre workout for the first time in a long while and my b***y almost caught on fire! 🔥
*I actually cooked dinner.

I’m not skinny.
I’m not ripped.
I don’t work out to be skinny.
I don’t work out to be ripped.
I work out for my overall physical health.
BUT mostly I work out for my mental health!
Moving your body is one of the best ways to reduce stress, ease anxiety, calm the mind, and take care of YOU! 💃🏼
I’ve always been very open about my depression and ADHD. I don’t hide the fact that I take meds every day. I take time every day to take care of me because I know how much it helps me.
Life is not always a walk in the park on the perfect spring day. Some days it’s a more like a walk on a high wire during a hurricane. 😳 It’s important to remember it’s ok to not be ok, and it’s ok to take the time you need for you! Go for a walk, listen to music, write in a journal, meditate, do yoga, reach out for help! You are not alone! You can reach out to me any time!! 🤗
This past week SUCKED, well stomach issue wise it did! I didn’t get in any of my runs this week. I walked and did yoga. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and take a step back and down a notch. 😉
I love yoga and fluid movement. It’s challenging yet relaxing at the same time. It clears my mind of chaos while I focus on just me. I encourage you all to try some yoga this week. And you DON’T have to be flexible to do you, but yoga CAN make you more flexible. 😉
