We’re excited to welcome Melvin King to the 2026 Preseason Showcase on September 20th!

Melvin is a shifty, athletic point guard who knows how to create offense for himself and everyone around him. What stands out most is his ability to consistently generate easy scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Averaging seven assists per game, Melvin has court vision like binoculars. He sees plays develop before they happen and delivers the ball exactly where it needs to go.

He also makes a major impact defensively. With two steals per game, Melvin is a lockdown defender who disrupts opposing guards and applies constant pressure.

We’re excited to have Melvin joining the showcase and can’t wait to see his playmaking and defensive intensity on display!

Daylin is a high-flying, energetic player who brings intensity every time he steps on the court. We’re excited to have him join this year’s showcase and know he’ll bring plenty of energy and athleticism!

7th Grade and Jr Boys finished up for the summer today at the Tuckerman team camp.

Jr Boys went 2-0 with wins over Cabot North and Cabot South. 7th Grade went 1-1 with a win over Batesville Southside and a loss against Cabot South 8th Grade.

Both teams have worked extremely hard this summer and have gotten better each day.

Senior Yellowjackets went 2-0 today with our off-season guys at the Tuckerman team camp. Next week is our last week of summer workouts and team camps.

7th Grade and Jr Boys were in action today at the Tuckerman team camp. 7th Grade went 1-1, and the Jr High went 2-0. Great job today, and keep stacking days.

Senior Yellowjackets were back in action today after our time off from the Dead Period. We went 3-0 at team camp, while getting all of our guys a lot of reps.

The Arkansas Activities Association dead period is coming up fast! Starting next week on Monday, June 21, ALL Wynne Schools athletic facilities will be closed through Sunday, July 5. Don't forget to mark your calendars and finalize any summer plans!
