I have been asked alot about invasive species in NH, there are several different types with different levels of mitigation. If you have a small manageable infestation they send in hand harvesters like myself. If you have a larger they send in a device called a DASH, diver assisted sucion harvester. If the infestation is out of control they go with herbicide, which is the last resort.
If you have a problem in NH all efforts are directed through the State of NH Department of Environmental Services, DES.
