TWC Youth wrestlers will also receive a food voucher, courtesy of the TWC Board. This is not a drop-off event…will be a fun night for the whole family!

Congratulations to Gehret Gentzyel for being recognized by the Positive Athlete Organization as one of the 14 Most Positive Athletes in Eastern Pennsylvania. Over 15,000 nominations for this program were submitted, and Gehret was one of roughly 450 students in the country to receive this honor.

Gehret was selected for being a high-character, teamwork-oriented leader, who has experienced winning and losing, and has shown a heart for our school and community.

Congratulations to YS wrestlers, Jasper Kling and Zeno Lentz, who will represent the Pennsylvania National Team at the 2026 16U National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota, in July! 🧡🖤 Way to go, boys!

Congratulations to YS Wrestlers Gehret Gentzyel & Taza Sweeney who were recognized at the YS Signing Night for their commitment to collegiate athletics after they graduate from YSHS. 🏈🏈

Gehret has committed to play football at the University of Delaware & Taza has committed to play for Ursinus College.

Congratulations to YS Wrestling Senior, Gehret Gentzyel, who was named the YSHS 2026 Male Scholar Athlete.

Gehret also earned the Ben Murphy “Best Athlete” Scholarship.

Gehret has earned 20 letters in 7 different Varsity Sports at YSHS. He has lettered in Football, Soccer, Wrestling, Diving, Swimming, Baseball & Track & Field. He served as a 3 time captain for YS Wrestling & a 2 time captain for YS Football.

Gehret will continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Delaware where he will play football for the Fightin’ Blue Hens & participate in the Army ROTC program.

Congratulations to Grace Andricos, YS Field Hockey & Lacrosse player, who earned the 2026 Female Scholar Athlete Award.
