Taking a little break from our fun facts! Now it’s time to talk about some important fair SAFETY items.

Montague Rotary Club wants everyone—pilots, spectators, vendors and volunteers—to have a safe and enjoyable Montague Balloon Fair. Please take a moment to review these important reminders about items NOT ALLOWED on airport grounds.

❌ No drones
❌ No pets (service animals welcome)
🐕 Why no pets? Balloon burners can be very loud and startling, and that noise can cause unpredictable reactions in dogs. For the safety of your pet, our pilots, crew and other guests, please leave pets at home.
❌ No smoking or va**ng

Please stay off balloon materials and equipment, listen to our pilots and crew members, and respect all event announcements.

The Siskiyou Family YMCA Teen Leadership Council will be up bright and early, helping with parking and getting Montague Balloon Fair mornings off to a great start again this year!

The students are back again at the Montague Hot Air Balloon Fair, providing parking assistance next Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings! They’ll be helping direct arriving vehicles, assist guests, and keep parking safe and running smoothly. 🚗

The Teen Leadership Council brings together local high school students who are developing leadership skills while finding meaningful ways to serve and support their community. We’re grateful to have these young leaders volunteering their time to help make the Montague Balloon Fair a success.
