THE VIPERS ARE BACK!!!

Just kidding, but they could be after the impressive output on display the past 2 weekends playing against the current Senior Pioneers in the Hall of Fame Game. All of the Zanesville Vipers playing in those games performed well.

The Vipers will come out strong and represent once again.

If you are or if you know a player that would like to participate in a baseball game this Sunday, please reach out to me.

Last Saturday, we had a great turnout but the rain washed us out after 2 1/2 innings. We had a lot of people reach out to see if we could reschedule and it turns out we do have enough interest and availability of players to quickly adapt their schedules to make this happen. We have more room on the roster if others would like to join.

In honor of the MVOTA Hall of Fame, the Senior Pioneers will be hosting a Hall of Fame Game on Saturday, July 18, at Gant Municipal Stadium at 7:00. All present and former Senior Pioneers, Zanesville Vipers, Junior Pioneers, and OUZ players, are invited to play as well as any Hall of Famer. Even if you didn’t play for these teams and you want to play, you are welcome. Maybe you just want to come out and watch - that’s fine too.

We just want baseball people to gather in one place at the field and enjoy themselves in a fun environment. Spread the word - tell your friends and family. Then, on the following Monday, July 20, come support the newest Hall of Fame inductees at the MVOTA Hall of Fame banquet at the VFW at 5:00.

Brandon Wheeler, Wes Carder, Brandon Bush, Craig Stoneburner, Jason Smith, Pat Corder, and Todd Mitchell are this years inductees into the MVOTA Hall of Fame. Let’s celebrate them.
