"The B-1 visa is intended for business visitors, while the B-2 visa is for tourists. However, neither visa category permits employment within the United States.

👍Fact: No, all work is prohibited for B1/B2 visitor visa holders, even if the work is being done remotely for a foreign employer. If you are physically in the United States, you need work authorization to engage in productive work.
