STEVEN ALKER BEATS MICHAEL BLOCK AGAIN TO CLAIM ANOTHER CHAMPIONS TOUR TITLE!!
Steven Alker has done it AGAIN! The New Zealand star closed with a clutch **4-under 66** to win the inaugural **Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic** at Lehigh Country Club, finishing at **14-under 196** and edging Tag Ridings by just ONE stroke!!
But the biggest drama came from the final group. **Michael Block**, who stormed into Sunday’s final round with a one-shot lead after a brilliant bogey-free **63**, found himself chasing Alker once again just like at the Ally Challenge in August.
Alker delivered when it mattered most, making huge birdies on **Nos. 16 and 17** before calmly parring the 18th to secure the victory. Ridings fired a superb **64** to finish runner-up at 13-under, while Block’s closing bogey left him alone in THIRD at 13-under.
For Alker, this was another statement of just how HOT his game has become. It’s his **FOURTH victory of 2026**, his **14th PGA Tour Champions title**, and his **THIRD win in his last four starts**. He has now finished first or second in each of his last four events.
And Block? Once again, he came painfully close. The 50-year-old club professional had another chance to turn a strong week into his first Champions Tour victory, but the closing bogey ended the dream. Still, the solo third is the **best finish of his Champions Tour career** and came in his seventh start.
