It’s nearly that time again, who’s around for the Wooden boat regatta?
Calling all WEYC sailors let’s have a thumbs up who is going to make it.

⚓️Ahoy sailors! It’s time for the 51st Foxy’s Wooden Boat Regatta with our friends at the “Loyal” West End Yacht Club!

We accept all classes! You don’t need to be a wooden boat to participate!

The Kentucky Derby 2026 results are in, and Golden Tempo, by a head, won the 152nd running at Churchill Downs in a furious finish.

There were no punters picking the winner in our "fiver flyer on a filly" at the Clubhouse this evening, so the pot went to Niall for picking the next closest c**t.

The favourite all week, Renegade, slotted in the #1 gate, finished second, followed by the 70-1 longshot Ocelli in third and Chief Wallabee in fourth place.

Golden Tempo was near the back of the pack until the final turn, when a strong finish put the horse with 23-1 odds just across the finish line ahead of the second-place finisher. It was a historic result, with Cheri Devaud becoming the first woman trainer to train a Kentucky Derby winner.

Six Speed, which lead for 3/4 or more of the race, faded to 13th.
