OCTOBER 10TH UPDATE

Greetings from St. Thomas. We are pleased to report S/V Sapphire and her crew weathered both Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria successfully! We owe a huge debt of gratitude to many new friends in Culebra, Puerto Rico and will be forever grateful to have spent a month there. If you have a chance to visit Culebra some day, go for it! Beautiful beaches and great restaurants, people and music abound.

Having returned to St. Thomas a few days ago, we are in awe at seeing not just the forces of nature unleashed, but how this wonderful, dynamic community has come together during this rebuilding process. Everywhere we look, we see people helping people.
