Một phái đoàn từ Hiệp hội Các nhà sản xuất và Xuất khẩu Giày dép Agra (AFMEC), Ấn Độ, đã đến thăm Hà Nội hôm nay nhằm tìm kiếm các cơ hội kinh doanh trong ngành giày dép, da và các ngành công nghiệp phụ trợ liên quan.

Phái đoàn AFMEC đã có các buổi làm việc với Trung tâm Hỗ trợ Phát triển Công nghiệp (trực thuộc Bộ Công Thương), Hiệp hội Da - Giày - Túi xách Việt Nam (LEFASO), và Liên đoàn Thương mại và Công nghiệp Việt Nam (VCCI).

Phái đoàn cũng đã gặp và làm việc với Đại sứ Tshering W Sherpa. Đại sứ đã đưa ra cái nhìn tổng quan về mối quan hệ hợp tác mạnh mẽ giữa Ấn Độ và Việt Nam, bao gồm cả các cơ hội trong lĩnh vực giày dép, da và linh phụ kiện.

Những vấn đề thảo luận tập trung vào việc thúc đẩy quan hệ đối tác doanh nghiệp với doanh nghiệp (B2B), cơ hội đầu tư, hợp tác chuỗi cung ứng, và hợp tác giữa các tổ chức/ hiệp hội trong ngành.

Chuyến thăm này phản ánh đà tăng trưởng ngày càng mạnh mẽ trong hợp tác kinh tế Việt Nam – Ấn Độ, đồng thời củng cố cam kết của cả hai nước trong việc thắt chặt hơn nữa hợp tác thương mại trong lĩnh vực sản xuất.

Phái đoàn sau đó đã di chuyển đến Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh để tiếp tục các hoạt động kết nối với các doanh nghiệp trong ngành của Việt Nam và tham gia Hội chợ Triển lãm Quốc tế Da & Giày lần thứ 26 (diễn ra từ ngày 08 - 10 tháng 07 năm 2026), cùng một số hoạt động khác.

A delegation from Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber (AFMEC), India, visited Hanoi today to explore business opportunities in the footwear, leather and allied industries.

The AFMEC delegation had meetings with Industry Development Centre under Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

The delegation also met Ambassador Tshering W Sherpa, who gave an overview of India-Vietnam robust relations, including opportunities in the footwear, leather and components domains.

The discussions focused on fostering B2B partnerships, investment opportunities, supply chain collaboration, and industry-to-industry cooperation.

The visit reflects the growing momentum in India–Vietnam economic cooperation and reinforces the commitment of both countries to deepen trade and commercial ties in the manufacturing sector.

The delegation proceeded to Ho Chi Minh City for further engagements with Vietnamese industry players and to participate in the 26th International Shoes & Leather Exhibition (8-10 July 2026), etc.

Seychelles đã trao tặng Thủ tướng Narendra Modi Huân chương Danh dự của Tổng thống "Người Bảo vệ Chân trời Xanh" (Guardian of the Blue Horizon), nhằm ghi nhận vai trò lãnh đạo của ông trong lĩnh vực bảo vệ môi trường, phát triển bền vững và kinh tế biển xanh (kinh tế đại dương bền vững).

Các cam kết về khí hậu của Ấn Độ, từ các mục tiêu Panchamrit được công bố tại COP26 đến Liên minh Năng lượng Mặt trời Quốc tế (International Solar Alliance), Lối sống vì Môi trường (Mission LiFE) và sáng kiến IRIS dành cho các Quốc gia Đảo Nhỏ đang Phát triển (Small Island Developing States - SIDS), đều là một phần trong cách tiếp cận kết hợp giữa việc thực hiện hiệu quả các chính sách trong nước với việc thúc đẩy hợp tác toàn cầu. Danh hiệu "Người Bảo vệ Chân trời Xanh" phản ánh sự gắn kết bền vững này, bao gồm cả quan hệ đối tác của Ấn Độ với các quốc đảo như Seychelles trong việc theo đuổi các ưu tiên chung về bảo vệ môi trường.

Seychelles has conferred the 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon' Presidential Distinction upon Hon'ble PM, recognising his leadership in environmental conservation, sustainable development, and the blue economy.

India's climate commitments, from the Panchamrit targets announced at COP26 to the International Solar Alliance, Mission LiFE and the IRIS initiative for Small Island Developing States, are part of an approach that combines domestic delivery with global partnership. The 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon' reflects this sustained engagement, including India's partnership with island nations such as Seychelles on shared environmental priorities.

I humbly accept this honour and dedicate it to all those countries that are fighting the challenge of climate change and consider environmental protection their responsibility towards future generations. This is a pressing challenge which we have to overcome together.

India, on its part, stands ready to do whatever is required in making our planet greener and sustainable. This is reflected in our various domestic policies, emphasis on Mission LiFE and global efforts like the International Solar Alliance, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure and more.

Với chủ đề "Yoga - Sống Khỏe theo Năm Tháng" (Yoga for Healthy Ageing), hàng trăm người yêu thích Yoga đã cùng thực hành Giao thức Yoga Phổ biến (Common Yoga Protocol), qua đó thể hiện những giá trị mà Yoga mang lại trong việc bồi đắp sức khỏe, sự cân bằng và năng lượng tích cực.

Celebrating International Day of Yoga across Vietnam! 🧘‍♂️✨

The Embassy of India, Hanoi joined hands with the provincial authorities of Da Nang City, Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam–India Friendship Association of Da Nang City to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga.

Focused on the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing", hundreds of yoga enthusiasts practiced the Common Yoga Protocol, showcasing the potential of Yoga to build health, balance, and positivity.
