Saigon Pool League 8-Ball Divisions start on 15th January!

A New Season, a New Year. Time for you to join the Community.

The Saigon Pool League starts its 24th Season on Thursday 15th January 2026. We are now looking for Team Registrations (Registrations close 11th January 2026).

If you are a Venue, you will need:
* A Pool Table in good condition and a clear 150cm space around it.
* You will need a Player who will Captain YOUR TEAM and represent YOU
* You will need 5 other Pool Players that will turn up EVERY THURSDAY for the following 16 Weeks
* You will want to market your venue to other players
* You are prepared to make a good Thursday Night PROFIT

If you are a Team, you will need:
* A supportive venue
* You will need a Player who will Captain YOUR TEAM and rally the players
* You will need 5 mates that will turn up EVERY THURSDAY for the following 16 Weeks WIN or LOSE!
* You will arrive thirsty and hungry because what is Pool without the beer and food!
* You are there to play fair AND HAVE FUN!

We also run a 9-Ball League on MONDAY NIGHTS starting 19th January 2026. If you want to join a 9-Ball Team, LET US KNOW!

Captains,

First of all, I want to thank you for steering us through another busy and successful Saigon Pool League Season. Season 23 ticked off. Let's make Season 24 the best yet!

We still have some season ending Pool ahead of us on the 8th January, as Tonic Samurai's face off against The Tavern Thieves in the Premiership Gold Cup, while two Semi-Finals in the Championship Silver Cup are being fought out between the H***y Rabbits and Rafters Shafters, aswell as Play Red Lions playing Hangover Break & Drunk in the 2nd Semi-Final. Play Saigon will face Tonic Supersonic in the Bronze Cup Final on the same evening.

The Presentation Night will be held at Evita on Saturday 10th January, where our Top 2 Teams from the Champion Divisions in District 2 and District 7 will face off in the King of the (Saigon) Hill Challenge Match, playing for the esteemed Rad Lowry SPL Trophy. On the same night, The Final of the Silver Cup will be fought out between the victorious Semi-Finalists from Thursday night.

Plenty of Trophies and Medals for ALL the Winners and Runners-Up of ALL the Regular Divisions (both Win/Loss AND Handicapped) over the season, so LOTS of PRIZE PRESENTATIONS for those attending.

ALSO ON THE NIGHT, we will have some Fast8 AND Super Killer, so plenty for everyone attending!

Have a GREAT Christmas and New Year, and I hope to see YOUR TEAM fighting for a whole new round of Trophies and Medals in 2026.

It's Summer Time!

Season 1 of the Saigon Pool League has finished and we take a break from the cauldron of Pool League action for some Summer League Fun!

If you wish to find 5 friends to play a bit of 8-Ball, a bit of 9-Ball, some Doubles, and some Killer, then the Summer League is for you!

If you're interested, let us know as soon as possible.

EVITA APPA-RATED HANDICAP SINGLES LEAGUE

This Season, the EAHSL starts it's 7th Season, making it the longest running Weekly 8-Ball Tournament in Vietnam!

Once again we have the gracious support of Evita, who will be opening their doors at 2pm EVERY SATURDAY, for players of every skill level to test themselves against their OWN HANDICAP!

The APPA Scoring will identify a different winner most weeks, and a Bottle of Evita's Finest Wine awaits that player after the 7pm cut-off.

The Tournament will run for 18 Weeks, and Points are Awarded to the Top 7 Players EVERY WEEK. The player with the most points after 18 Weeks receives the TOP PRIZE of 5 MILLION VND (3mill CASH, 2mill in Evita Vouchers). 2nd Place receives 2MILLION VND (1mill CASH, 1mill Evita Vouchers) and 3rd PRIZE receives 1 MILLION VND (500k Cash, 500k EVITA Voucher). All winners also received Cups and Trophies.

You can top-up your Weekly League Points with Points from the Evita Race Series as well! Play Races-to-7 on Evita's EAHSL Reserved Tournament Tables during the week, and the Top 3 on the Weekly Evita Race Tables will also receive EAHSL League Points towards their final tally. There is also a Trophy and Vouchers for the TOP RACER after the 18 Weeks!

So come over to Evita from 2pm Saturday 15th February to register and meet some fun people that just want to 'borrow' some of your APPA-R from you! ;f

You don't have to come every week. You don't have to arrive at 2pm. You just have to aim to play at least 5 different players and play better than you do on average!

Evita's welcoming vibe and fun atmosphere makes it a great way to improve your Pool, meet new friends and become part of this vibrant and happy community!
