Vanuatu Qualifies for OFC U-16 Championship 2026 in Papua New Guinea.

Vanuatu earned a spot at the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship 2026 in Papua New Guinea with a 3-1 comeback win over the Cook Islands in Nuku’alofa.

After falling behind early, Franso Shem scored just before halftime to tie the game. In the second half, Vanuatu kept up the pressure. Titus Robert gave them the lead in the 80th minute, and Shem scored again in stoppage time to secure the victory.

This win means Vanuatu finishes its qualifying campaign on a high note. They will play in Group B at the final tournament in July, joining New Zealand, Solomon Islands, and Tahiti.
