Zillah Cal Ripken Baseball & Softball

BASEBALL ⚾ season is quickly approaching! We will be doing sign ups in Feb with the hopes of practice starting in early March! Our first go around will be for Minors (9-10 yr olds) and Majors (11-12 yr olds)

What we need now is some people to step up and help make this season happen. Please note, these are full year commitments.... Meaning it will extend into june/july while rookies and softball take place

What a weekend at the annual LVCR Tournament! (Sorry Im awful with pictures! Please share some here)

I am so proud to see our boys come out and play with grit and determination all weekend long! We are the smallest city in the lower valley, but we make huge waves in this league. This was our 47th season being apart of Lower Valley Cal Ripken!

Some of the best baseball of the season was played these past two days. We had a team that played 30+ innings of baseball in 6 games. We had a team win a game with only 8 players. And we had a team bring home the title of "Champions". Our Minors program went into the tourney #1 and #2 and got to face each other in the championship game.

Be proud of your boys. Be proud of their growth. Be proud of their friendships made. There is a LOT to be excited for in the coming years for Zillah Baseball.

Another Zillah Vs Zillah night, this time our MINORS division! 22 boys donning the Zillah jerseys playing a close game in front of a packed field! The future of Leopards baseball is looking great!

Unfortunately we were not able to field a 10U team, with the season less than two weeks away from starting games, we have to call it.

We were only able to end up with 8 girls, I will be pushing out refunds tonight.

Tonight was a Match up of Zillah vs Zillah in the MAJORS division. It was a tough battle, but ZILLAH came out on top! No matter the score, our community wins in situations like this. 24 young men playing a game they love in an amazing supportive community. Rookies- 7-8 yr olds (age as of May 1st) we have 12 spots. We need a coach as well

Softball- 12U (11 and 12 yr olds) age as of Jan 1st, 2024. We are almost full from our early bird sign ups. Keeping 14 girls

10u softball- (9&10 yr olds) age as of Jan 1st 2024. We have 5 girls signed up, need at least 12.

Rookies starts practice in May, games Mondays and Wednesdays in June

Softball practice starts in May, games for 6 weeks in June and July with an end of season tournament.
