The NFL started an initiative, Crucial Catch. It’s mission is to fight cancer through early detection and risk reduction.
Here are some cool moments from this weekend to show the start of that activation.
• Ron Rivera who is still coaching while being treated for cancer. Had 400 cardboard cutouts placed in the stands of his family, friends, and dogs.
• Al Randall a cancer survivor and longtime Lions fan. Was their honorary captain, and was brought out using a mobile camera.
• A new merchandise line which is worn on field starting this week and throughout October. Sold on NFL Shop, 100% of profits are donated to the American Cancer Society.

Vargas is an avid TikToker with more than 40,000 followers as part of a growing NASCAR following on the platform.
This sponsorship really came about almost by chance. Vargas’ friend Ryan Pistana is a graphic designer who was bored and made a concept car and said ‘what if the TikTok driver got sponsored?’

Adidas Originals and the LEGO group partnered to launch a new sneaker design.
The ZX 8000 sneakers can be purchased for $130 on the Adidas website starting Friday.
With LEGO brick-inspired colors and geometric design elements, the shoes pay homage to the popular toys.
The sneaker has six different-colored shoelace options and includes interchangeable LEGO bricks.

The Raiders built a 93-foot Al Davis Memorial Torch, which is the largest 3D Printed Sculpture.

The Al Davis Memorial Torch is constructed of 225 3D-printed blocks made of carbon fiber, reinforced polycarbonate composite, each weighing approximately 350 lbs.
