What a way to end the season !!!!(for good this time) 4 incredible games were played and 3 wins secured! The 1s played a tough match to kick varsity off and a last minute Beckett goal saw them a 1-0 final score. The 2s played their 5th game again Beckett this season and scored 5 goals to celebrate (lucky it was against their 2s this time). Despite captain rosie jetting off on the start of her year abroad the 3s secured a 2-1 win. And last but most certainly not least the 4s smashed a 7-0 win making up half of the goals LUUWHC scored against Beckett 🤩. And before I sign over this account to SS(turnedPBS) Roz I’ll leave you with a little quote from her describing this Wednesday . ‘The weekends previous activities had an impact on our game, but once that first goal went in, it was a true masterclass in the art of beckett bashing’ (winter, 2023) Its been a pleasure, let’s hope miss Winter can provide you with some more entertaining captions so you don’t fall asleep reading these anymore 😇

💚It’s our day is a Leeds based student mental health charity, striving to achieve mandatory mental health education throughout all levels of education in the UK, to help with crisis prevention.

The charity also runs a weekly mental health Breakfast Club each Saturday at Cardigan Lane Community Centre, providing Leeds students with a free home cooked meal and place to hang out, whilst also receiving mental health advice and support. Any donations to help push the girls through the hilly 25 miles will be greatly appreciated and sent to a great cause!! Last results post of the season 🥲 The final week of fixtures saw the 1s come 2nd in the Christie Cup in Liverpool. The 6s came out on top against the 7s and have 1 Saturday game remaining which if they win means they will come top of the league 🥳 what a season it has been 💚💚 P.s committee applications for next year are open so get applying !! Fixtures! An exciting final week this week with the 1s heading to Liverpool for the Battle of the North - taking on both Liverpool and Manchester, hoping to maintain the Christie Cup winning title 🏆 Away in Newcastle the 4s play their final BUCS match of the season 🥹 And an exciting game on Saturday as the 7s take on the 6s @ weetwood 2:30 pb!
