“I’m fine.”
Said every midlife woman with the same tone people use when they say,
“No, no, the smoke alarm just does that sometimes.”
And tomorrow night, we’re talking about the smoke alarm.
Because the most powerful moment in a woman’s life isn’t always when things change.
Sometimes it’s the moment she finally tells the truth.
The truth about the exhaustion.
The resentment.
The desire she buried.
The marriage she has stopped being honest about.
The job that is draining the life out of her.
The body symptoms she keeps trying to explain away.
The woman she used to be — and the woman trying to come back.
This is not about blowing up your life.
It’s about no longer abandoning yourself mid-sentence.
Tomorrow on She Said It Out Loud, we’re talking about:
The Power of Telling the Truth
Join me for a real, honest, funny, tender conversation about what women silence in midlife — and what begins to heal when we finally say it out loud.
She Said It Out Loud
Episode 2: The Power of Telling the Truth

Live tomorrow, June 8
Come as you are. Even if you’re “fine.” Especially if you’re “fine.”

The episode that made three women cry in their car.
In a good way.
The kind of cry that feels like something finally got to exhale.

This month's She Said It Out Loud podcast is live — and it's the one I almost didn't record.
Because it required me to say what's actually real.
Not the polished version. Not the "here's what I've learned" version.
The honest one.
In this episode:
→ What midlife women are silencing — and what it costs the body
→ Why your symptoms might not be a hormone problem
→ What actually shifts when a woman stops swallowing what's real
→ A closing visualization you can do right in your car

Monday June 8 · 5pm MST · She Said It Out Loud LIVE
This is where we say it out loud together. 🌹

SHE'S NOT FALLING APART.
THAT'S THE PROBLEM.
SHE STILL SHOWS UP. STILL PRODUCES. STILL ANSWERS THE TEXTS AND MAKES THE DENTIST APPOINTMENTS AND HOLDS THE WHOLE THING TOGETHER.
SHE'S FUNCTIONAL.
SHE'S JUST... NOT THERE.
NOT DRAMATICALLY. NOT IN A WAY ANYONE WOULD NOTICE.
JUST DIMMER.
LESS TURNED ON BY HER LIFE.
LESS HUNGRY IN THE WAY THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS.
AND SHE HASN'T SAID WHAT'S REAL — NOT TO HER PARTNER, NOT TO HER DOCTOR, NOT EVEN TO HERSELF — BECAUSE SAYING IT FEELS LIKE OPENING A DOOR SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO CLOSE.
SO SHE KEEPS MANAGING.
AND HER BODY KEEPS GETTING LOUDER.
THE NEW BLOG IS LIVE.
SHE SAID IT OUT LOUD: THE POWER OF SAYING WHAT'S REAL.
IT'S THE PIECE I WROTE FOR THE WOMAN WHO LOOKS FINE AND FEELS ABSENT. THE ONE WHOSE SYMPTOMS DON'T FIT NEATLY IN A PRESCRIPTION. THE ONE WHO SUSPECTS THAT WHAT SHE'S ACTUALLY STARVING FOR ISN'T A NEW PROTOCOL.
IT'S PERMISSION TO BE HONEST.

Something I've been wanting to say for a while now.
There is a specific kind of loss that midlife women almost never talk about.
Not the loss of youth. Not the loss of hormones. Not even the loss of energy — though God knows that one is real.
It's the loss of desire.
Not just for s*x. For your own life. Your mornings. The future you used to feel curious about. The woman you were somewhere in the middle of becoming before you got so busy surviving.
That quiet, flat, "I don't recognize what I'm living" feeling?
That's not aging. That's not hormones. That's a woman who has been in survival mode so long that the part of her that wants — that hungers, that reaches, that burns — went underground to stay safe.
She is still there. I promise.
This month on She Said It Out Loud we're starting with the moment it all becomes impossible to ignore. Episode 01 is live — "The Moment You Can't Unsee Your Life."
Link in bio. Or tell me below — have you felt it? That moment?
Drop a 🌹 if you know exactly what I mean.

There’s a moment in midlife no one really prepares you for…
When your body feels different in your own hands.
When the way you’ve been loving… stops satisfying you.
When the woman you’ve been… starts to feel too small.
And something in you whispers:
there’s more.
More aliveness.
More truth.
More desire.
More of you.
But you can’t access it through willpower.
Or self-improvement.
Or trying to be who you used to be.
This work is different.
It’s slower.
Deeper.
More honest.
We begin in the body—
learning how to feel again without shutting down or pushing through.
We unravel the patterns in how you love—
so intimacy becomes something you experience, not perform.
And we open the doorway to the woman you are becoming now—
not the one you’ve outgrown.
This is where shame softens.
Where desire wakes up.
Where you come back into relationship with yourself.
Not as a project.
As a woman who is ready to feel… everything.
If something in you is stirring—
that’s not random.
That’s your next chapter calling.
