Walsh softball will be offering softball for the following ages. Please register as soon as possible so we know how many girls are trying to play at each level. For us to have a team in each age level, we would need min 9 girls, ideally 11, in case someone can't be there and injuries per team. Please register, and we will let you know if your child's age level will have a team. The teams are :
-7 to 8 year olds
- 10 and under
-12 and under
- 13 to 18

Hello parents and players! Today is the end of the year party at the walsh pool from 6 to 9 pm. Please bring the foods assigned at bottom and your jersey tops please. To my understanding the only players and family members unable to make it is Jocelyn and melissa. We will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers with all the sides. I am picking up the newspapers today and will be providing each girl one copy.I also need to plan ahead for numbers for other girls that may be interested in playing for us next year. At the party I will have a sticky note in which you write players name and if they plan to return and place in a box. If you have another girl interested in playing ball for the 13 to 18 or 12 and younger please also talk with me this evening. The board has also stated any end of the year partys are paid for by coach or parents. The total cost is 100.00. If any parents would like to help contribute that would be great! See ya tonight!

Hey parents for the end of the year party I'm asking for help with food and drinks please! Amy caddick will bring hamburgers, hotdogs and the grill. I need the following girls to bring the following and anything else you would like to bring! Please consider bringing tables if there isnt any at the pool.please remember we are feeding the team and the families so pay attention to numbers in the party post plus some. Also bring team jerseys. I will have team pitures at the party as well as a copy for each player of the newspaper. I also know it's early to plan for next year but I need to know who is committing to the team for next year to plan fundraising for the off season for the girls to get team gear( bat bags, socks, or what the team would like for next year). So parents aren't having to buy everything before season next year and can gradually buy it over time. I also need to plan ahead for numbers for other girls that may be interested in playing for us next year. At the party I will have a sticky note in which you write players name and if they are or are not playing next year. You will then place in a box and noone except me will see it. Please talk with your players and have a decision for this day. I know it's still ways out there but I don't want to bother parents that aren't returning over the off season and I know things come up between now and season but i need rough estimates. Hey Walsh Softball!!!!! Today I was asked for the team to be the feature in the Plainsman Herald. The article will be in the paper in the July 21st paper. I've contacted parents for permission for players pictures to be used and the writer will choose. Great work avocados and thank you for the community support! Pick your copies up!

Parents we are trying to set up the end of the year party at the walsh pool. Players will be responsible for helping bring food and drinks and will be assigned. The dates available are July 16, 17 or 22nd in the evenings we can choose from. What dates work best for you guys.
