So, in our monthly rehash of Royals history, you may have noticed I've skipped February...
That's because the team had just a few winning second-months in their 15 seasons. Januarys were great, February were not.
Just two teams to highlight... the strong 1963-64 team went 14-3 over 29 days. They just plowed through the February hex. One more good thing to say about that great team. The other is the Cousy 1970-71 team, which went just 3-13 in February, the franchise low here, with playoff hopes on the line.
