I’m now back home 🇵🇭

Finished Top 16 in the women’s singles in St. Louis. I struggled to really lock in during my 9 AM match and made a lot of errors. Chihiro Kawahara played really strong and never missed. She was the better player and truly deserved the win.

Still, I’m grateful for the mixed doubles result. My partner Jayson Shaw and I finished 3rd to 4th, and I’ll take that as a win 😀🤘🏻 It was our first time teaming up, but we were electric on the table. I learned a lot from him and genuinely enjoyed every match. Thank you, Champ, for trusting me to be your partner 👊🏻😄

Congratulations to Jasmin Ouschan for winning the women’s event, and to Seo Seoa and Wiktor Zieliński for taking the mixed doubles title 👏🏻

I’ll be taking a short break and skipping the PBS tournament in Austria this June. Just taking time to pause, breathe, and have some quiet dates with my Cynergy before the big tournaments later this year 🙂‍↕️

Like this post and join us in congratulating Cuetec’s own Chezka Centeno and her Philippines teammates, Jefrey Roda, Carlo Biado, and Rubilen Amit, for capturing the 2026 WPA Teams World Championship, bringing the title back to the Philippines for the first time since 2022.

After an early 0–3 loss to Poland, the team battled through the tough field to reach the finals — setting up a rematch for the title.

Down 0–2 and facing elimination, Centeno and Roda delivered a clutch mixed doubles win to keep the Philippines alive. Biado followed with a crucial singles victory to force a shootout.

After both teams traded spot shots and missed in the fourth round, Poland missed in the fifth — giving Jefrey Roda the chance to sink the winning spot shot to secure the title for the Philippines.

A comeback worthy of World Champions. Mabuhay Team Philippines! 🇵🇭
