It's Back! 🍾🤩🍀

So I did a brave thing today. 😁 I’ve always been very negative about my body and to a certain degree, feeling “worthy” of the cute clothes. Hasn’t gotten any better after gaining almost 20 lbs in the last year.

Decided it was too nice of a day to not enjoy outside so took the nugget for a hike and way underestimated just HOW WARM it was. 😂 I was wearing a long sleeve light hoodie and quickly realized I was going to stink good and plenty after if I didn’t take it off. I was wearing a sports bra under but have never worn just a sports bra and leggings in public, let alone with all the extra squish I’ve got going on!

As we walked further and I got even more warm, I thought “You know what, you’re out here, making a conscious choice to be more fit, and there should be no shame in that”. So I took my hoodie off and let my love handles free to the sun and wind!

It felt liberating to make a choice to be kind to myself and to do my best to not wonder about what those passing us on the trail might think about whether I was “thin” enough to be wearing just my bra and leggings. Here’s to continuing to learn to love mysel regardless of what the scale or the mirror says. 💗
