This past weekend, teams gathered for the Bryson Women’s and Top-9 regattas, facing a mix of light and challenging conditions on Redwood Creek.

After a slow start on Saturday with postponements and only two races in marginal breeze, Sunday brought more sailable conditions ranging from 4-7 knots, allowing for a full day of racing.

Congratulations to for taking first place in both the Women’s and Open fleets, followed by in second place in both fleets. And congratulations to for securing third place in the Women’s fleet, and to for securing third place in the Open fleet.

This past weekend, hosted McIntyre Team Race!

Saturday saw excellent racing where a full round robin of 66 races were able to be completed. As for Sunday, light and inconsistent conditions only allowed for five races where both the top-6 and bottom-6 fleets were called early.

Congratulations to for securing 1st and 2nd place, and for placing 3rd!

A week ago, hosted the annual Jeff Simon Memorial Regatta at Mission Bay Yacht Club.

The event saw 13 schools and 40 boats compete in varying conditions. Saturday began with strong winds of 12 knots and gusts up to 20. The breeze gradually settled to 5-10 knots, allowing each division to complete four races.

Sunday brought light and shifty conditions. Race committee successfully ran two more races in each division before wrapping up the weekend.

In the open fleet, took first place, followed by in second and in third.

In the women’s fleet, dominated with first and second place finishes, while secured third.

Two weeks ago, the PCCSC set sail at the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite, hosted by
Saturday kicked off with classic Hawaiian trade winds blowing 10-15 knots with some exciting gusts, followed by an amazing cookout organized by UH alumni after racing wrapped up. Day 2 didn’t disappoint either, with steady winds allowing for 12 races across both A and B divisions.

The host team, , dominated the event, taking both first and second place, while the secured a strong third-place finish.

Teams left with beautifully painted coconut trophies and memories of a stellar weekend. Huge thanks to the sailing alums, volunteers, and supporters who made this event extra special!

The Fall Season is officially in the books! PCCSC teams competed in over 48 total regattas this season around the country, culminating in the Fall Pacific Coast Championship in Santa Barbara. put on a fantastic regatta that started a strong westerly with large swells which transitioning into a gusty and shifty northerly by Saturday evening. Sunday started with a brief postponement before the event was finished in a classic Santa Barbara sea breeze from the west.

Congratulations to for their dominant win as well as their fantastic results across the board this season, winning the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Final among other events! finished the event in second with in third after a strong performance. The event was particularly competitive this year, with eight different teams holding a top four spot at some point over the weekend.

In the JV fleet finished in first with in second and UCSB in third. Thanks to the UCSB team for hosting a great event as well as all the teams which traveled to compete. The next PCCSC event will be the Rose Bowl Regatta hosted by in the first week of January.

The Fall Top Nine and the PCCSC Women's Fall Season Championship at Stanford last weekend had a little bit of everything! Although the shiftiness of the breeze remained constant on both days, the breeze ranged from zero to fifteen knots over the weekend with 16 races run in both fleets.

Congratulations to for their dominant victory in both events! and rounded out the podium for the Women's Fall Season Championship in second and third place respectively.

In the Fall Top Nine secured a hard fought second over by a margin of 3 points, with only 10 points separating the second place team from the fourth place team in a highly competitive fleet!

The Stoney Burke Intersectional is officially in the books! After a weekend of light and very shifty conditions inside of the Richmond Marina Bay came out on top of the varsity fleet with 55 points, followed by in second with 72 and in a close third with 80. USC also won the Women's Fleet with and rounding out the podium in second and third place.

The PCCSC had its first fleet race event in Mission Bay this past weekend with the conclusion of the UCSD Open! Between the Open and Frosh-Soph fleets there were over 46 boats and 200 sailors in attendance!

took home a dominate win in the Open Fleet. secured second place with the second USC team behind them in third.

In the Frosh-Soph the took first with in second and in third. Over the course of the weekend sailors experienced a variety of conditions, with wind in the mid teens on Saturday and six to eight knots of highly shifty conditions on Sunday.

PCCSC Racing is officially back!!! This past weekend five schools took part in the PCCSC Richard Sweet Match Race Championship in Long Beach. won the event with an undefeated record of 8 wins and will represent the PCCSC at the ICSA Match Race National Championship! finished in second with in third after a long day of racing in 6 to 10 knots of breeze.

The next conference event will be the PCCSC Open and Women's Singlehanded Championship hosted by UCSB this weekend, good luck to all competitors!

The PCCSC will be represented by 5 incredible teams at the Open and Women’s Fleet Race National Championships this year!

Competing in the Open Fleet will be the returning champions , after a second place finish at the Pacific Coast Championship, for the first time since 2016 and !

Representing the conference in the Women’s Fleet will be the reigning champions of the fleet coming off a dominant win at the Women’s Team Race Championship, who finished second at the PCCSC Women’s Fleet Race Championship and who finished third!

Congratulations to these programs on a great season thus far, the conference will be rooting for all of you at the Nationals later this month!

The list for All-Conference Open Skippers was finalized this weekend at the conference championships alongside the All Conference Crew list! The All Conference Women Skippers were announced at the Women’s Spring Championships in San Diego, unfortunately no photo was taken. Together these three lists represent the best of our conference alongside our Women and Open Skipper of the Year Vanessa Lahrkamp and our Rookie of the Year Thomas Sitzman!

The Mark Healy PCCSC Open Fleet Race Conference Championships concluded the season in Santa Barbara this past weekend with tight racing and pristine conditions for the 16 teams competing! Coming in first was with in second and narrowing trailing in third. Congratulations to Stanford and UCSB for qualifying for nationals and good luck for all PCCSC teams still in the running for a berth!

Congrats to all the teams who attended on a great season! Despite the high stakes the PCCSC camaraderie that has become a staple of West Coast events was on full display throughout the weekend.

It has been a busy two weeks for PCCSC sailors with three conference championships in the book! Down in San Diego UCSD hosted the Women’s Fleet Race and Women’s Team Race Championships in Mission Bay. Congratulations to for winning both events and a spot at the National Championship! Rounding out the top three at both events was in second and in third.

The Open PCCSC Team Race Championship was held last weekend at Stanford with epic conditions on the Redwood Creek! won the event and a spot at the National Championship with a perfect record with coming second and in third.

With the end of the season in sight, PCCSC sailors competed at the South Designate Semi Final Regatta last weekend in Long Beach, fighting it out to qualify for a spot at the Pacific Coast Championships.

Alamitos Bay provided spectacular conditions with shifty breeze in the mid to upper teens both days. Congratulations to for taking home first with in second and in third as well as the top 16 for qualifying for the Pacific Coast Championships

Two weekends ago hosted its first collegiate regatta, the Cactus Cup! Competitors were greeted by unusually windy conditions on day one which led to tight and exciting racing. Day two was more benign, with a later wind fill allowing the race committee to get off five races to finish the regatta.

Champagne conditions greeted competitors last weekend at the 16th annual Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup! Over the three days ten teams fought for first aboard identical Catalina 37 Keelboats!

The PCCSC was represented by five teams, who finished second, in fifth who won a narrow tiebreaker over sailing in sixth, in seventh and the new offshore program who finished tenth.
