The perfect solo trip weekend getaway!
Been a few months since I went wiper fishing and oh boy I was rusty. The amount of hits I missed and me losing a few by the shore line and even losing 2 big wipers from using some old fluro leader line. That was heart breaking. Caught more quality fish than quantity. Kept 8 in total which I was happy about cause my cooler is limited on how many I can keep. Biggest was a 8lbs wiper that I released back. I’m getting close to fi*****ng out this lake.

Did some trout fishing over the weekend. Small crappie bobber with a small tungsten nympth flies and small wooly bu**er was the key for these picky fish!

Finally upgraded!
Sold my other 2 Shimano Vanquish and my other Airity to purchase 2 Daiwa Certate!
And yes I’m using the 5000 for crappies… lol jk. New wiper setup specifically for the big dams.
