"The Body Whispers Before It Screams"
There was a time I ignored the signs.
The tension in my shoulders.
The heaviness in my chest.
The constant tiredness I brushed off as “just being busy.”
My body was whispering, gently asking me to slow down…
But I kept going.
Skipping rest. Pushing through. Smiling on the outside, while my nervous system quietly begged for space.
Until one day—it didn’t whisper anymore.
It screamed.
Through burnout. Anxiety. Exhaustion I couldn’t shake.
That’s when I finally listened.
Now, I honor the whispers.
A yawn means I need rest.
A tight chest means I need stillness.
A tired spirit means I need softness.
Yoga didn’t just teach me to stretch—it taught me to listen.
Maybe your body is whispering to you right now.

i wish i were with someone— someone kind, gentle, and grounded. i'd be lying if I said the idea didn't cross my mind. it would be nice to be with someone who sees the world differently and chooses to see me with open eyes too. but thats not my story right now. not yet
