Night Two 🏁

We truly could not have asked for a better night at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway. ❤️🏁

Grant came out swinging with a great start, going 2nd to 1st in his heat. Dylan had to put his elbows up and get to work, charging from 7th to 1st to pick up the other heat race win. With both boys taking the heat wins, they locked themselves into the front row for the feature — Dylan on the pole with Grant starting to his outside.

When the green dropped, Grant stayed high and found his way around Dylan to take the lead. From there, Dylan spent the remainder of the race stalking his brother, searching for a line and looking for a way back around. But caution after caution kept interrupting the battle, and eventually the race was cut short.

We’ll never know which Schaadt brother would have come out on top if they’d been able to race it out to the finish… and honestly, that’s the kind of problem we’re happy to have. 😎🔥

The track was absolutely pristine, the cars were hooked up, and the boys put on one heck of a show. What a night for the DeWitt Racing Team!

Gary was really hoping to get medical clearance to climb back in the car this weekend, but even with him sitting this one out, he found his way as a mentor and crew chief, and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. We’re just grateful for a safe, successful weekend and so proud of all three boys.

Two heat wins. A front-row lockout. A 1-2 finish. And one heck of a brother battle.

Couldn’t have written a better ending to our season up north. ❤️🏁

One more night under the lights at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway!

The boys are ready to put it all on the line for our final race up north. The cars have been getting better every night, and we’re ready to finish this one strong. 💪

🏁 RACE RECAP — NIGHT ONE AT Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway 🏁

What a night of racing! The track was in excellent condition, and the racing was fierce throughout the entire field.

Grant put together a smooth and steady run, working his way from 11th all the way to 2nd! 👏🔥 He’s getting tired of 2nd place, but we’re happy with it!

Dylan was having a blast in the 29A, ripping the lip and putting on a show as he charged from 8th to 4th. He drove a great race and helped Grant secure that 2nd-place finish.

The boys did an awesome job tonight! 💪🏁
We couldn’t be prouder of both of them and the way they raced hard, safe, and clean from start to finish. 🧡

And guess what… we do it all again tomorrow! Same time, same place. Let’s go! 🏁🔥

Tonight’s race will look a little different for the DeWitt Racing Team.

Gary will be sitting this one out as he recovers from a small heart procedure he had performed earlier this week. We’re wishing him a smooth recovery and can’t wait to have him back behind the wheel of the 29A!

In the meantime, we’re excited to have Dylan Schaadt stepping in to pilot the 29A tonight. It should be a fun one to watch with a brother battle between Dylan and Grant on the track! 🏁🔥

DeWitt Racing would like to clear the air as it seems to be a bit muddy.
Both the DeWitt Racing 8 and 29a have been running the same program all year, as we were on August 1, 2026. We have the current WMR tune per the 2026 rule book. We have our ECU’s checked every year to make sure there is nothing wrong with them and that we have any updates as available (again per the rules). Back in March 2026 the SWEM “officials” were notified that our ECU’s were updated by WMR and to check them if they wanted to. They came during a race at Adobe Mountain Speedway March 7 and checked our ECU’s. We were subsequently told that we were “good to go”. We are uncertain why at this time it is now an issue as it has not been in violation or question till now.

We apologize to all of our supporters and fans for the negative public outcry, as we are legal per the rule books. We strive to have top of the line equipment and to positively represent all of our supporters and fans to the best of our abilities. 🏁 Race Recap – Night 2 🏁

What a great night with the Southwest EcoTech Midget Racing at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway!

The boys left it all on the track, and we're proud of the progress we're making every time we unload the cars.

🏁 Grant brought home a 3rd place finish.
🏁 Gary finished a strong 4th place.

As we continue to tweak and try different setups, we're getting these cars dialed in, and it's exciting to see all the hard work paying off. Running with the USAC Western States Midgets has definitely helped our drivers sharpen their race craft. Every lap teaches us something, and we're looking forward to building on this momentum.

A huge thank you to our family, friends, sponsors, and everyone who comes out to cheer us on. Your support means the world to our team!

Now it's time to get ready for our final showing at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway on August 14 & 15. We can't wait to get back on the track and finish the season strong. See you all there! 🏁💪🔥
