The Mighty Round Rock WolfPack is off to a strong start this fall! These two players put up some incredible numbers during the past two tournaments and were named our tournament MVPs! #28 Eli Norton is hotter right now than any other 14 year old!! He batted .444 and led the team in RBIs during the PGBA Central Texas Super NIT. #12 Drew Evans was lights out during the PGBA Bats of Fall tournament batting .556, with a .692 on base percentage, and produced the most runs on the team! Very proud of these two ballers!

The Mighty 13U WolfPack is clicking on all cylinders right now!!! We have won 75% of our games this spring season mostly playing up in age group and clearly showcased our ability today competing in the PGBA Father’s Day Classic!! So proud of these boys!!!

Ladies and Gents, I present to you the 2024 Round Rock WolfPack Team Captains, none other than #22 Austin Davis and #13 Champ Contreras! So proud of these two! Every year, I have the players vote for who they feel are the two players that they want to lead them through the calendar year and for the fourth year in a row, the WolfPack has Chosen Austin Davis to be their leader! This is something to be commended as being a leader of your peers is widely considered to be one of the most difficult leadership positions to hold. With that said, the boys also voted for Champ Contreras to be their team Co-Captain. This is really commendable considering Champ is a newer addition to the team. I can tell you with all certainty that the WolfPack nominated Champ as one of their leaders because of is his driven mindset, insatiable will to win, and incredibly positive attitude. Very, very proud of these two players and I am excited to see how they lead the team this year!

Gotta brag on this kid for a minute… He’s been our Team Captain for about three years (Six Seasons) and it should be noted that our players actually vote for their Team Captains! #22 Austin Davis (AKA - Cap) certainly led the team this weekend in the way that a leader of peers would. He was poised, efficient, and effective on both sides of the ball. He batted .375, led the team in stolen bases, blasted the ball 8 times in 10 plate appearances, ZERO Strikeouts, diced up 3 batters on the mound during a big-time Sunday victory, and committed ZERO errors on the weekend… #22 Austin Davis was nothing short of the WolfPack’s leader this weekend and absolutely showcased why he is our Team Captain. Very proud to announce that Austin Davis was our PGBA Rodeo Roundup MVP! Great Work Cap!!

What a weekend for the Mighty 13U WolfPack!! This is the third consecutive tournament that we’ve competed all the way to the SHIP on Sunday! With that said, what a weekend for the WolfPack’s March Mayhem MVP #24 Lightning Griffin Weitz!! This kid was lights out all over the diamond! He led the team in nearly every statistical category! Griff blasted the ball 10 times in 11 plate appearances racking up 7 statistical hits which resulted in an impressive .636 batting average, had an On Base Percentage of .818, batted .500 with Runners in Scoring Position as a LEAD OFF, stole 5 bases, and had ZERO errors in the field! No question that Lighting Griffin Weitz was the most valuable player this weekend. Great Work Griff!!

What a weekend for the Mighty 13U WolfPack! We played up in the 14U division and the boys did not dissapoint while competing against much bigger and stronger players!!! We racked up 31 statistical hits, batted .344 as a team, and batted .404 with runners in scoring position! Simply put, the boys were incredible this weekend! They put up numbers that led to a close second place finish in a Texas Tie Breaker for the SHIP on Sunday!

With all that said, I have to brag on #19 “Big Time” Myles Coconougher!! This kid was lights out all over the diamond this weekend. Drove in 9 RBI’s, batted .556, zero strikeouts, hosed 2 baserunners trying to steal on him, and worked an espn highlight reel double play!! “Big Time” Myles Coconougher certainly earned the title of MVP for the PGBA Will Power tournament!!
