The Nebraska City girls' and boys' basketball teams split a doubleheader at the Pioneer gym on Friday.

Brenna Turner had 21 points to lead the Pioneer girls' team, but Plattsmouth used a 19-7 third quarter to take command on the way to a 51-38 win. Maddie Burnett and Autumn Graham led the scoring for the Blue Devils.

Jared Nemec (pictured) was one of three double figure scorers for the Nebraska City boys' team in a 71-45 win in the second game of the evening. Bryce Levy scored 17 and hit four three-point shots on the game. Sam Williams had 14 for the Pioneers.

Kalen Leget had 17 to lead Plattsmouth.

Friday's win was the second win in as many nights for the Pioneer boys' team, which dispatched Conestoga on Thursday.
