As we begin preparing for our next SEED Residency performance, we’re reflecting on the powerful work that came to life last year.
SEED is an experimental street and dance theater residency supported by . It brings together artists rooted in street dance and Afro-diasporic forms, creating inclusive spaces where Dance, Culture, Community, and Wellness intersect.
What you’re seeing here is a glimpse of that creative exchange. The collaboration, the growth, the stories embodied through movement.

Join us next Saturday for an incredible workshop with legendary dancer and drummer Aziz Faye! Our Sabar teacher is back in LA, let's support and fecc!
Aziz is from the village of Medina, the nguewel (griot) suburb of Dakar, Senegal. Nguewels are oral historians, musicians, dancers, singers and storytellers. He carries this tradition on in workshops breaking down Sabar Dance technique with precision. Join us for an incredible workshop from a master drummer and dancer in the Sabar tradition.
