We are thrilled to announce the return of Coach Joel Weeks to 310 BASEBALL! A founding member of our program, Coach Weeks has deep ties to the South Bay and the Torrance area, where he has made a significant impact in youth and travel baseball.

Coach Weeks served as the head coach for our 14U Team 2026 during the 2022 season and is excited to rejoin us in his mission to enhance players' skills and confidence. With a strong background in coaching, he is dedicated to helping our young athletes improve their game and prepare for higher-level competition.

A former competitive player himself, Coach Weeks attended West High School in Torrance before continuing his baseball journey at California State University, Fullerton. He was drafted as a minor league catcher, shortstop, and third baseman, playing professionally from 2008 to 2012. His experience as a player enriches his coaching, providing valuable insights to our athletes.

Coach Weeks is eager to work with our players once again, focusing on their development and fostering a love for the game. We are excited to have him back on board and look forward to an amazing season ahead!

The Ishikari Red Phoenix is a professional baseball team competing in the Hokkaido Frontier League, an independent minor league in Hokkaido, Japan. This team serves as a vital platform for player development, offering opportunities for both local and foreign talent to showcase their skills. Based in Ishikari, the team represents the thriving independent baseball scene in Japan.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for players to participate in the upcoming U.S. National Team Championships in Arizona! This prestigious tournament, organized by USA Baseball, will take place at the MLB complexes in Peoria and Surprise, AZ.

Tournament Details:

15U (2029 Grads): June 17 - June 22, 2026
16U (2028 Grads): June 25 - June 30, 2026

310 BASEBALL is scheduled to compete in this sold-out tournament. Please note that this tournament is tryout-based and players must register with 310 BASEBALL to be cleared for participation.

Selected players will have the chance to be identified for additional national team workouts and may receive invitations to national team evaluations in Carey, NC, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex for the Olympic and Junior WBC teams.

Tournament Format:

Duration: At least 5 days
Minimum 5 games, with the possibility of up to 8 games
