thank you so much to for hosting us last night and thank you all for showing up in such great costumes and making it such a good one!! Never seen so many good looking people in one place 😮‍💨🤩

Hi, we just wanted to pop on here to let you know where our heads are at and offer a little more info about the society.

Our aim is to provide a space for all medics, whether seasoned pro, beginner or somewhere in the middle, to let off some steam and get lost in the beautiful game.

Regardless of whether you’d like to build on your skills within a team or simply have a good old-fashioned kick-about, this society is for you❤️

We’re only a year old and this is why sadly we can’t join any official leagues (the ultimate end goal!) just yet but we will have weekly training sessions from September (if not more- hopefully 1x social and 1x competitive) and plan to arrange some good friendlies wherever possible on top of these too.

Of course there will also be a mixture of socials open to all, for some of which we hope to combine forces with other societies within medsoc and beyond👀

We’ll be at the medic fayre on Monday 26th September 6-8pm in the Isaac Newton atrium (opposite the med building) and will have our training times and a taster confirmed by then so come say hi :)

We can’t wait to see you on the football pitch and wish you all the best this academic year. With the world cup just around the corner too… exciting things are ahead!!

The man, the myth, the legend.. the prez himself.

POSITION: Striker
SUPPORTS: Man United
FAVE PLAYER: Cristiano Ronaldo
FUN FACT: I share the same birthday as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr (05/02). Coincidence? I think not.

Decided against the photo of him 2-footing a 5 yr old in order to appear “more approachable”. Granted he was also 5.

POSITION: Left back
SUPPORTS: Manchester United
FAVE PLAYER: Jadon Sancho
FUN FACT: I have a completely irrational fear of biting into apples
FRESHER ADVICE: head to trebles before going to the clubs :)

Responsible when spending other people’s money. Shame she can’t say the same about her own.🤑🤑

POSITION: Bench
SUPPORTS: my fpl team🤩
FAVE PLAYER: Rodrigo Moreno (manifesting a hatrick from my newest signing this afternoon)
FUN FACT: I stubbed my toe a few weeks ago and now my toenail’s coming off!
FRESHER ADVICE: no ragrets!!! Chances are most people are bricking it so fake it till u make it and don’t put pressure on yourself to have everything figured out in the first few months (or yrs even coz i still don’t haha)
