Building a fire in wet and cold environments requires knowledge and the physical skills to procure the correct wood, prepare it and be able to light and
maintain it.

Being proficient in building a fire is a critical must-have skill. It is also an enormous confidence booster.

Come meet the instructors this Saturday 1:30-6pm and train some hand to hand combat, talk medical preparedness, survival preparedness, advanced fi****ms tactics.

Meet Chris “Sparky 🔥“ Flamm
PDSG Survival Chief

Chris Flamm was raised in Oregon and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1994. He completed and graduated from the arduous and infamous USAF SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) Instructor Training program and then went on to certify and earn the coveted Sage SERE Beret.

Chris is a global Survival Instructor--- and experienced expert in fire & shelter craft, navigation, water and food procurement as well as signaling, recovery, primitive wilderness medical, evasion movement and camouflage and all related facets of survival on this planet.

Chris spends much time camping, is an avid off-road enthusiast, woodworker and metal fabricator. He is also a certified bicycle frame builder and mechanic.

Meet Harry Dollarhide

I was raised in Oakland California along with 6 siblings. I started martial arts at the age of 7 with my older brother, Okinawa Karate at the YMCA.

I then spent some time in Yakutia Japan studying Koga Rue Ninjutsu
And Aikido . I studied Krav Maga and some Japanese jujitsu later in life.

I spent 12 years in the US Army as a Reconnaissance specialist in an air mobile Scout team, and an instructor in foreign, Soviet/ Warsaw Pact weapons.

I also served 26 years as a federal law enforcement officer with ICE and DHS. I was responsible for training new officers and agents in basic law enforcement practices and procedures, I also served as a weapons of mass destruction specialist and Hazmat specialist on a national team.
