Lock stops & stomp it!
Epic weekend of Dirty Khanacross skid's over 2 days at 2 different venues!
Thanks to the South Eastern Automobile Club inc & Limestone Coast Offroad Club Inc. & all of the other volunteers for Saturday's Khanacross at the Heywood Wood Wine & Roses Festival.
Thanks to the Westmere Motorsport peeps who ran a round of the Victorian Khanacross Championship today at their Westmere grounds.
S13 Silvia has survived both these outings unscathed (that I can see), some cones/markers may have been harmed over the weekend.
New gearbox seems to be a good thing! YAY!

Big thanks to Ararat Car Club Inc for the 2023 king of the hill, great work from all involved and the awesome volunteers watching us have a little bit of fun. The EA ran flawlessly all weekend and able to record a time of 1:02.69. This was enough to hold runner up position for the class. Like always a good social outing and catch up with fellow competitors.
Some days you wonder whether you would've been better staying home in bed!
Stupid racecars.
2023 Bogan Bush bash TRE is on tonight.
Damien is jumping back in to navigate the Datsun 1600 with Dr Datto himself!
We are car #1 on the road, so hope to make the most of that road position & get another finish!

The S13 Silvia has finished 3rd Outright for the 2023 South Australian Autocross Series!
Thanks to SEAC & SDCC for running the 2 rounds that made up the series this year!

Mixed results from today's Autocross event held out at SEAC Park.
Geoffrey's Peugeot suffered a driveline failure of some sort & ended his day on run 3 just before the lunch break.
Damien had an enjoyable day in the S13 Silvia, after having some issues with engine ignition yesterday when checking the car over.
This clip is the 5th run from today & I think my fastest for the day.

Got the flick to the finish box, didn't get it in gear!
Just rolled in & then double checked that I had come to a stop completely in the garage!
28.73 seconds & 3rd quickest from our 13 drivers.

P.S. Somehow I managed to be 9th fastest on this run!
(Don't mind the errant cable tie flapping across the screen or the crunchy gearbox synchros!)

A quick wrap-up from the Round 3 - 2023 Walky Park Series & SA State Khanacross Series | Black Nitro held on the weekend up at Walky Park.
An uncharacteristic error on one of the first 2 tests for Saturday put me behind a bit but I ended up coming in at 12th outright for Day 1.
After a bit of campfire socialising on Saturday night, Day 2 seemed to be progressing a little better.
After combining the results from both days, I ended up coming home in 11th outright & first in Class C.
Thanks again to all of the officials & volunteers for their efforts on the weekend so that we could have a play & do some dirty skids!

A pretty awesome weekend was had in the S13 Silvia.
The SA Autocross Championship was held over Saturday/Sunday & Round 2 of the SA Autocross Series was just on Sunday.
Had some pretty awesome battles with other competitors in different vehicles over both days!
SA Autocross Championship & Series Provisional Results are now available for viewing on the SDCC website. They will become Final if no protests are received by 13/07 @ 8pm.

Think this test, (MULTIPLE LOOP), was my favourite from Sunday.
Both of my run times near identical & a gnat's whisker off the Class C record, (which has now been lowered, thanks Tony!)

After touching up some ARMCO at the 2023 Hannaford Seeds Cross Border Hillclimb Series at Mt Leura Hillclimb Camperdown recently, I had some repairs to do before heading out to Curtis' Paddock for a grass Khanacross event.
The weather had been playing up all night & into the morning.
As a result of the rain, the intended track layout had to be abandoned as some vehicles found it impassable on the recce run.
A shorter track layout was agreed upon by the competitors, some opted to withdraw due to the conditions of the paddock.
Here's a clip from my 2nd run.
7th fastest (including the 5-second penalty for dislodging the blue barrel! Interestingly the orange cone landed in its upright position on the ground!)
P.S. - I touched this same blue barrel on the first run but didn't dislodge anything, so no penalty.
Managed to finish the event in an impressive (for the conditions) 5th outright & 1st 2wd!
On the road again!
