Team Safir in collaboration with Box & Flex With Mary (Mariam Datoo), are excited to bring you a fitness session comprising of AirBadminton and Boxercise from 10 am to 12 pm on Sunday 12th September titled Work Out to Help Out for girls aged 8 to 12 years.
Mariam is a qualified Boxercise Instructor - an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers which combines aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. She has been training ladies and children alike both online and in person.
Event will take place in Cannons Park and more details will be posted to attendees. *Max 18 girls*
Ticket is £10 per person and 100% proceeds will be donated to Ali Asghar Water Appeal

On the 28/29th August I will attempt to climb Mt. Snowdon by night.
The proceeds will help in making a difference in eradicating water poverty. The money raised from my sponsored walk up Mount Snowdon will assist in drilling a borehole for draught affected under privileged people in Somalia.
Just £75 will provide water for one person for LIFE!
Without access to basic water and sanitation services, there is no safe supply for drinking,cooking,cleaning and farming. Communities lack adequate hygiene practices and face the risk of water-borne diseases such as diarrhoea and cholera.
Help me make a difference to the people of Somalia, no-one should have to struggle for water…that should be a basic human right.

🔻About Mohamed Valjy:
Mohamed is an FA qualified coach, and has been instrumental in the development of football coaching in his sports community, Stanmore Jafferys, where he started as a coach and went on to be the Chair of the football club for 4 years. Under his leadership his team put through 40 parents and youth through their FA Level 1 and 2 coaching. During this period Mohammed was at the core of developing the boys football both on a social and competitive aspect.
More recently Mohamed has set up a football club exclusively for girls. His academy facilitates courses for schools and local communities to empower woman to become football coaches.
🔻About Mariam Datoo:
Mariam has a Level 2 FA qualification in football and she is a qualified Boxercise Instructor, training ladies and children alike both online and in person. She has played for Northwood Ladies Football Club and has been instrumental in the setup of girls/ladies sports for Stanmore Jafferys in 2015, and has not stopped since then to ensure ladies and girls have the opportunities available in the sporting arena.
She has joined Jaffaria Academy’s team and currently directs its Sports Hub and Football Club.

What a week it’s been at the Euros!
Training to kick start the week on Monday/Tuesday and Saturday in readiness for Englands first game at Wembley on Sunday 13th against Croatia.
It’s been such an experience from knowing what to check for Covid tests to learning how to use the radios and perching on the umpire chair without falling over!
England won the game so lots of smiling faces at home time! Even though the stadium wasn’t at full capacity it didn’t take away from the ambience and buzz that could be felt all round.
I’ve met some amazing people and learnt so much already!
Welcoming the Scots for another exciting game on Friday!

My Euro Journey: Day 1 - Team Leader Training - beautiful day to start this journey off! Today was all about learning the venue inside out! Different roles and responsibilities and how to make the spectator experience absolutely amazing! We get to play about of fun equipment as well!
