Connections for Kids Who Shoot Clays

Connections for Kids Who Shoot Clays

At Cole Fine Guns and Gunsmithing we LOVE working with kids and their families involved in clay target sports.

We've created this page so that kids with a common interest in shotgun sports can connect with each other, and with us all in one place.

Micaela, MJ is coming home to Texas from PA with some hardware! She was able to meet her goal of making it into the Open Junior Finals. She worked hard and was able to win the 2021 United States Grand Prix Gold Medal 🥇 in the Lady Junior Division. We are so proud of MJ and the hard work she has put into her sport!

Always love to know what Team Cole kids are doing all over! Way to go!!

This past weekend, we had shooters at the Goliad County 2021 Scholarship Shoot and the Crosby Fun Shoot. Our shooters that went down to Goliad put up some of their personal best scores to date!!! That is a win, so congratulations to them!! With not being able to practice much in the recent months, that is awesome!!

The shooters who attended the Crosby event also shot well. We had several that were able to take home some awards! Kindal Moreau won her first Ladies HOA, and new shooters, Kye Sopczak and R. J. Mulvihill won their very first awards!

Congrats to all of our shooters!!! Keep grinding and working hard!!

For so many reasons!! I’ll name just a few- then you tell me some of yours!
1. They tend to spend a lot of time with family and adults who encourage them in positive ways— family values, involved parents, proper guidance and supervision = responsible, respectful youth, positive attitudes.
2. They are routinely exposed to peers and older shooters who exhibit strong values and encourage them to do and be their best. They are surrounded by positive examples of good character, ambition and sportsmanship.
3. A certain level of maturity and responsibility is expected and demonstrated early and often when involved in clay sports. Youth programs generally have a terrific foundation in teaching solid life skills.

What are some other reasons kids who shoot clays are typically awesome?! Yes, I’m writing a book!!😀🌟🙏
