Extremely proud of this group of student athletic trainers today! On a Saturday, when they are all covering/part of a spring sport or activity (Archery, Basketball, Choir, Pals, Powerlifting, Soccer, Track and Field, and Softball), They WANTED to get up very early and leave the school at 6am to attend the annual ETATA (East Texas Athletic Trainers Association) conference, and compete in the student athletic training ankle taping competition. 5 of the 7 Student Athletic Trainers competed this afternoon. Out of about 30 students, our Captain Alondra Perez took 3rd place with a score of 70 out of a possible 75, and our Co-Captain Tiffini Ednie took home 1st place with a time of 58 seconds and score of 73 out of a possible 75 point! We love how much this group supports each other in everything they do, how much they support our athletic programs, our school district, and our community! We are absolutely honored to have all of you representing our program each and every day!

January is soccer tourney season! Today captain Alondra and co-captain Cheyenne, with special guest Jalyn, were hard at work today taking care of our boys and girls ⚽️ teams 💙💛 Thank yall for taking time out of your Saturday, and enjoy the rest of your 3-day weekend!

We wrapped up the Mike Darby Invitational with the junior high and we able to take a picture with the legend himself, Mike Darby!

Next up we have a quick break then have to get prepped for our volleyball games vs Texas High and Homecoming game tonight vs Jacksonville
Yall come out to the Pirate Center to watch our 🏐 volleyball teams at 4:30 then come to Pirate Stadium at 7:30!
