Recap from the weekends racing at East fortune in the 2nd round of the Scottish championship.
First time out on the new bike so a bit of an experimental weekend with gearing and suspension settings.
Saturday qualifying we managed to start from 2nd position on the grid.
Great weather conditions for the race which we finished 2nd in.
Onto sundays race which was the last race of the day. Right at the start there was a downpour so it got red flagged and teams had a decision to make regarding tyres. We stuck with the slicks knowing the track would dry up during the race. That decision paid off and Jordan secured a very dominant win. 🔥🔥
Thanks to the team and all of our sponsors once again. Will see you at knockhill in just under two weeks time 👍🏻

Round 1 report.
Positive weekend but frustrating at the same time. First time racing on the new bike was straight into qualifying which we managed to get 4th.
First race we secured 2nd place. Found our feet on the bike early on and felt we had enough pace to stick with the leader until we suffered with brake fade which continued throughout the weekend despite the team trying their best to rectify it with the resources we had at our disposal.
Still managed to secure a 2nd, 3rd and two 4th's and a clear vision on where to improve.
As always, a massive thanks to all our sponsors and to those who helped over the weekend. We hope to be back at the sharp end in May at East Fortune.

All set ready to go for the first round of Scottish this weekend at Knockhill
26/03/2023
With the 2023 season about to start. Here is a little sneak preview of the new 2022 Yamaha R1 superbike the team have been busy working on. The team have been busy behind the scenes getting the bike ready and this is a picture from Saturday with the panels straight on the finished bike after being painted that day then it was off to testing at Knockhill today (Sunday) in some very tricky weather conditions for all involved. The teams efforts throughout the winter have all paid off as straight away, the improvements we have made compared to last years bike were easy to see from the get go. A very successful test day where we feel we have achieved what we set out to do away back in September and build a bike that can be competitive. We are now set for the start of race season. As always, thank you to all of our sponsors and those who have helped us reach this stage. A quick shout out goes to:
Alan Duffus motorcycles for supplying us with the new bike and GB racing protection
Neil at Craigston Tyres who will be supplying us with Michelin slick tyres for the season.
For the design, our thanks goes to Steve at On the wall graphics and Mikey the painter for the quick turn around on the panels. Graphics will be on soon.
Sean at GSG Performance up at at Knockhill for all the K Tech suspension and the dyno work with woolich racing software.
Gillies and Mackay garden buildings for protection gear
ITI network services for protection gear
James (Dad) and Kev who orchestrate everything behind the scenes and look after the bike year round.
Roll on round 1 👊🏻✊🏻🔥

Pre season update 🔥
Team are working hard in the background getting the new Superbike built for the upcoming season. Some progress pictures below and its starting to look like a bike again with Ktech suspension work completed by Sean at GSG. Brakes all done and electronics finished. Not long to go now then its off to get the motor ran in and set up on the dyno. We took a little break at the weekend and attended the KMSC awards night at Keavil House.
More updates will follow including livery reveal for both bikes 😉😛
Looking forward to testing and the season ahead.

Hey folks. Time for an update to let you all know our plans for the 2023 season. Before we do that, just a short update from where we last were - obviously the last race of the 2022 season didnt go as planned for us however we took lots of positives and have built on them for next year which I will get into shortly. Jordans injuries are now fully healed and he is in good spirits looking ahead to next year, last years R1 superbike has also been fully stripped and rebuilt by the team so it is now ready to go for next year with the exception of some paint. Any takers?😂
💥💥 Now then, "whats happening in 2023?" you ask 😁
We will again be competing in the 2023 Scottish Superbike Championship with last years bike....... however, we also have a brand new 2022 Yamaha R1 being built by the team which will be our main bike!!💥💥 see below.
In the later stages of last season we started looking ahead to 2023 and what our options were to continue racing next year and what class to race in etc. We knew at the start of 2022 that we were on an "old" bike but it gave us a good indication of what financial and time commitments were required to be competitive and also a chance to build a decent package around the bike looking into the future. We had a number of options but decided to stick to what we know and got hold of our 2022 Yamaha R1 at the end of the summer there. Watch this space to see how it turns out 😁
Lastly, we have some major sponsorship announcements to make heading into next year. This post is long enough 🙈😂 so we will do posts individually for each of them. Next year wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for them so it is important for us that they get the credit due to them and as always, we are always looking for more businesses who would be willing to help out. Get in touch with the page if interested and hopefully we can do something for you in return.
We hope you have a great Christmas and New year and we will see you in 2023... ❄️☃️

Well now that the dust has settled from the weekend (literally) we have had a chance to reflect on the 2022 season as a whole. Not going to focus too much on the final round at the weekend and the events that took place during it. Not how we would have liked to end the season but what is done is done. Plenty people seen what happened so we dont need to say anything more.
Despite Jordan coming away with a broken arm, finger and some severe internal bruising, we finish the season in good spirits, our heads held high, having learned so much this season, we are already moving in the right direction going into next season and very much looking forward to it. To finish 2nd across all championships entered in what was our first season on the superbike, is way more than we could have asked for. Not too bad considering we have been away from the racing paddock for 10 years, which we have missed.
Special thanks to James (Dad) who makes it possible to go racing in the first place and to Kev for helping with the bike set up etc. Thanks to the marshals and medics who give up their spare time to allow us to put on a show knowing we are looked after each weekend.
Last but not least, thanks to our sponsors for their generosity during the 2022 season and we hope to see you back on board for 2023 season, speaking of 2023, what will we be doing? Stay tuned to find out very soon 💪🏻💥😁

Well thats Knockhill done and dusted for this year. Came away with four 3rd place finishes this weekend which enabled us to finish the kmsc championship in 2nd place. Not bad considering this was our first full year on the superbike, an underpowered one at that.
The weekend was a frustrating one in terms of overall progress but one where we gained valuable points going into the last round of the Scottish Championship.
This was the first time back at knockhill clockwise since the team made a few changes earlier in the season so we were hoping to improve on the lap times since then. Unfortunately a minor front fork issue stopped us from making any real progress the entire weekend so we couldnt move further forward. Knowing we were safe for 3rd place during the races we didnt want to push too hard or mess around too much at this stage in the season.
Next and final round of the season is at East Fortune where we still have the chance to finish 2nd in the Scottish Superbike Championship.
As always. Thanks to all of our sponsors for their support this season.

Another great weekend racing at east fortune. 4 races, three 2nd places and a win.
Saturday race 1 was good considering we were using up the tyres from the last meeting at knockhill. Still had issues with the front brakes. 2nd place was all we could manage. Onto race 2, after fixing (so we thought) the brakes, scrubbing new tyres in and making some small adjustments, we went after the win and crossed the line 1st place after some good close racing.
Sunday, it was a case of limping over the line and scoring some valuable points. In the first race we progressed with more changes but went past the "sweet spot" on the suspension. Along with the brakes fading mid race, we had to settle for 2nd place.
After some investigating, the team found the issue with the front brakes however, time was not on our side to get them 100%. Sunday race 2 was much the same as the first, at the mid way point, a red flag caused a restart with a short 5 lap sprint. This gave us an opportunity for another win but the leader rode well and upped the pace in the last couple of laps. We settled for 2nd place which given the issues we faced, are more than happy with.
Final round at knockhill in a few weeks which we are looking forward to. Hopefully the riders involved in the incidents all recover quickly.
As always, we cant thank all of our sponsors enough for their support.
