For 6 years of training, I’ve always had a fear of overhead lifting, finding excuses to talk myself out of them every chance I had.
I told myself I wasn’t strong enough, upper-body isn’t your thing, and those lifts are to advanced for me.
Today I squashed those voices with my first overhead squat!
Overcoming fears isn’t something any of us like to talk about, but today showed me once more that those thoughts don’t reflect your actual abilities.
