Big shout out to the following: Carlstadt Recreation committee members for volunteering today, to the police, fire dept, ambulance and DPW for pre planning before and doing such a great job the day of, to DJ Leslie Molnar for donating 5 hours of her time at the last minute and playing music on the south side of the event, to mayor and council for volunteering to work games and rides, to the 3 Carlstadt bands who rocked the fair!!!, and to the one who takes care of all the vendors, who works so hard on this for 3 months prior, Lori Nunziato…..Hope you all had a great day! See you June 25th concert in the park!!

Today’s the day and what a beautiful day it’s going to be!!! Take advantage of the additional parking at Turn Hall and bus shuttles!!!

MUSIC,RIDES,GAMES AND VENDORS!!!! 11:00am-5:00pm additional parking and shuttle bus pick ups located at the turn hall parking lot on corner of Broad and Monroe St. Carlstadt Sports Complex on corner of Broad and Orchard St. and Carlstadt Community Garden on corner of 7th and Divison st. Saturday is going to be 80 and beautiful for the Carlstadt Street Fair. We have over 60 vendors that will be there…BNDR jewelry, magnets and bookmarks,Turkish Cultural Center,Krafting Treasure, Paparazzi, ornaments, dream Catchers, candle holders, licensed sports merchandise, Epicure, headbands, Code Wiz, Crystal K-8, scarfs, N&N soaps, sports paintings, RL Fashion, handmade greeting cards, massage oils, herbal teas, handmade dish towels, handmade pillows, Crossroads Community Resources Center with kids toys, chair massage,Maya eyelash threading, Color Street, Scentsy, Decoupage Shells, keychains, All Things in Style, Novelty For Kids, Croc Charms, handmade cutting boards. Fire Dept And Kimak Tie Despite Strong Performance From Armin D and Lukey F!!!!!!!

Armin D struck out 12 batters as they helped Fire Dept tie Kimak 0-0 on Thursday at Carlstadt Little League. Armin allowed one hit and zero runs over six innings while walking none.

Lukey F opened the game for Kimak. Lukey F surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 15 and walking one.

Alexander T and Michael C each collected one hit for Fire Dept. Alexander stole two bases. Fire Dept didn't commit a single error in the field. Alexander had the most chances in the field with 16.

Christian P led Kimak with one hit in two at bats.

Next up for Fire Dept is a game against Majors-PBA 275 on Monday.

Carlstadt Street Fair will have 3 awesome Bands, each featuring Carlstadt residents!!! Acoustic Vendetta, Darla Hood and Good Company! Located on the north side of Hackensack st. In front of The Local Pub! Plenty of tables and seating right in front of the Cliffhanger Production Stage!! Bands start at Noon!!

Parents of children participating in summer recreation. There will be an information meeting on May 19th in school cafeteria. Parents are urge to attend.
