Madden Gielink Racing

Anzac weekend is a weekend to remember for us. We did some testing on Anzac Day and tried some new ideas and quickly realised the Capabilities my Drago has. Come Saturday we hit the track at for some testing to try out the things we learnt but at another track. We started off good but then only got better and better as the day went on and smashed out some new PB’s. Come race day we pushed harder and managed to have some good battles upfront and set some new PB’s yet again and came away with a wicked 5th place overall after some sweet overtakes, pace and determination. Not our weekend nor the results we wanted but I’m keeping my head up high and pushing forward. is a really cool track and club to be apart of but also a really technical track which we just haven’t been able to figure out yet but, we will crack it soon, watch this space! The new kart is going well and I think we have honed in on the base setup for us. Now to adjust where we can to find those extra 10ths we’ve been chasing. Staying positive and keep pushing! It wouldn't be right to celebrate my birthday and not put in some laps!! Was great to head to today and get to drive my new kart! Starting to feel really good in it and smashing new PB's each session felt really good 💪

It's the end of 2023 racing season for me! I had a great weekend attending both and Christmas club days! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make these events a big success! 🏎️🍨🌊🏆

I was stoked to come away with some trophy's for my racing this year! It wasn't quite the racing year we hoped for but we are working hard to be a strong competitor next year with some exciting new things lined up!

Putting in some laps these school holidays. Not much racing for me lately we are just focusing on seat time! Had a great days practice today at working on my corners and finding new PB's 💥

Awesome to have my Poppa bring his kart too and get some seat time! Then finally got to see dad get behind the wheel and show me what he's got! 👊 I have to say.. not bad for his first time after 19 years out of the seat!

27/8/23 Kartsport Hamilton club points R3 - Short track

A pretty tough day at the office but that's the way it goes in Motorsport!

Madden's was showing great pace to finish on the podium all day but it just wasn't meant to be!

Madden tried his best to make up for it in the final but ended up in the ambulance instead! 🚑🚨
Thankfully he was ok just a little bruised and in shock and a big relief the other driver was ok as well!

A big thank you to all the race officials, cadets and parents who came over to check on madden We really appreciated it 🙏

Finished P5 overall for the day!
Looking forward to a better day at the track again soon!

Seems my Poppa got a little jealous of my go karting and decided to join in on the fun!
