COSTA RICA 2023 🇨🇷

This was one of my favorite solo trips to date. The land of Costa Rica is absolutely magical and sacred. Whether you’re exploring the busy city, hiking in the jungle or relaxing on the beach, each area has something special and unique to offer. There are so many different microclimates as well, ranging from 55 degrees in the mountains to 95 degrees at sea level, so you definitely have to pack for every type of weather. ☀️ 🌧️

The most challenging part of the trip was driving. Potholes everywhere…Lots of trucks to get stuck behind…windy roads that take forever to get from A to B. I almost got in about seven accidents because it’s just chaos.

Aside from that, CR is a dream and I can’t wait to go back to visit the Caribbean side.

A few of my personal favorites:

1. Cafe Monteverde Farm & Roastery
2. Manuel Antonio Chocolate & Coffee Tour
3. Manuel Antonio Beach and Wildlife Tour
4. Baldi Hot Springs
5. Fortuna Waterfall
6. San Jose Central Market
7. La Fortuna Sloth Tour
8. Hiking in Monteverde & Fortuna

Burlington, Vermont - September 2019 🍁 🌳

“You ain’t seen trees until you’ve been to Vermont.”

In September, 2019 my cousin and I took an East Coast road trip, starting in Vermont and ending in Washington D.C.

I immediately fell in love with Vermont and the city of Burlington. It’s quaint and clean with eco-friendly hippie vibes, (just like I like it) and the scenery is simply beautiful. There are many delicious farm to table restaurants and trendy craft breweries with damn good beer. The people are super friendly, welcoming and weird, and you can get just about anything maple flavored, which I love.

Burlington also has one of the BEST Farmer’s Markets EVER. Everything is, of course, hand-crafted, locally sourced with the highest quality organic ingredients and made with pure love. 💕

The one thing we missed out on were the autumn leaves🍁 as It was still a bit early to witness the color change. October is peak “leaf peeping” season. So, I’ll make sure to come back during that time.

•Ben & Jerry’s

Desert Trip 2025 🏜️🌵 Moab Utah - Four Corners - Albuquerque - Santa Fe
This was one of the most adventurous trips to date! The desert is truly stunning and mystical. It’s amazing how vast the land is and how much of it remains untouched. I will definitely be back for more exploration, hiking, sunsets, scenic views, and delicious food!

Food guilt can cause all sorts of disordered eating habits that are damaging to your health and keep you from fully enjoying your food experiences.

You certainly don’t deserve that, nor do you have to put up with it!

Food is meant to be nourishing and pleasurable. You can have both! Having guilt in the equation will only make it harder to create balance and peace in your eating habits.

Have you ever been able to make positive changes in your life that were motivated by guilt?

My guess is no.

Here are three things you can do today to help you stop 🛑 feeling guilty around food, so you can start feeling free.

Let me know in the comments which one you’re most excited to try! 👇🏼

Do you feel like you get conflicting nutrition advice from different experts and it confuses the hell out of you?

One day you hear someone say to avoid carbs because they’ll make you fat. Then, the next day someone else says carbs are a great source of energy.
Eat fat-free. Wait, no! Fat is an essential nutrient for your body. Bananas have too much sugar, stay away from them. Actually, bananas are healthy because they’re high in potassium. 🤪🤪

It’s enough to make your head spin!! No wonder so many people struggle with food…

The truth is, YOU are the expert of your own body. When it comes to eating, you intuitively know what’s best for you- what’s going to energize you, what’s going to help you feel satisfied, what’s going to support your health. But if you’re distracted by all the nutrition noise, it’s really hard to listen to what your own body needs.

In my 1:1 Coaching program, I help you become reacquainted with your body so you can communicate with it and understand what it needs. You get to experiment and explore what makes you feel great versus defaulting to what everyone else is telling you you should do.

There are so many ways to take care of yourself without using food as a way to self soothe, reward yourself, or receive joy, pleasure, and security.

Oftentimes, we don’t allow ourselves to experience these other things, or we can’t find the time, or we’re too busy taking care of everyone else and we’ve gotten used to feeding our bellies instead of our souls.

Food becomes a coping mechanism when we don’t have healthier alternatives to deal with our emotions. When we can’t find time to ourselves. When we’re exhausted and overwhelmed. When we don’t have the capacity to truly care for mind, body, and soul in the ways we want to.

Above are just a few ways you can care for yourself without food. The more you give your brain something else positive to focus on, the less desirable food will become because you’ll be feeding the parts of you that are craving for
Something different.

If this aligns with where you’re at, drop a ❤️ below in the comments.

Hi there. I'm Christina and I'm passionate about helping women end their struggles with emotional overeating, feel energized in their bodies, and gain the confidence to pursue their life passions.

For over 20 years, I struggled with eating and my body image.
I started dieting at 11 years old, which set the foundation for a very challenging relationship with food. Eating never quite felt natural to me. I was always stuck in a binge-restrict-eating-for-comfort pattern. I was self-conscious, my body felt foreign to me, and I lost touch with my true self. I felt alone, confused, and defeated.

I never talked openly about it because even though it felt like a problem, at the same time I didn’t think it was something I could fix. So, I suffered silently.

Several years ago, I figured out a way to break free from all of it and ever since, I've gotten to live my life in a whole new way. I enjoy doing what I love and being with the people I care about, without obsessing over food or my weight. Life is so much more satisfying because I’ve made room for what makes me happy. No more dieting, no more scales, no more late-night binges, no more stuffing my feelings with food. I’m free. I'm at peace with food, my body, and myself.

I share my story in hopes that it resonates with you if you find yourself in the same position I was. If you are, I'm here to tell you that you don’t have to struggle anymore. Change is 100% possible. You can turn your life around and end your suffering.

If I can do it, so can you. 🧡
