Long winded race recap, sit down to read thisš¤£š¤£I decided to throw something at the car this week just to see if we can make any progress in the slick, we made a lot of progress and the car was fast all night! We went out for the heat starting on the pole I knew as long as I clicked off good laps I had the car to beat and thatās exactly what we did. Went flag to flag and took the heat home, that put us starting outside pole for the feature! I made a couple minor adjustments and while I think I couldāve made a couple more the car was bad fast, around lap 10 ish we fell back to 4th and had a restart where I found the top and drove to second in one corner! Then this is where everything turned to the worst. We restart in 3rd on the bottom, green flag flys and the 35D fans down to the bottom but hold on here comes his brother in the 35B in what I can only assume to be falling asleep behind the wheel and ri**es my bumper in turn pushing me into his brother. Crazy right? I know thatās what I said. So they send me to the back which is quite possibly the worst call Iāve ever personally had, if the race director didnāt see what happened Iād suggest laser eye surgery because he must be close to blind. Then the 35B runs me over under caution for his own ignoranceš¤£ We drive back to 15th from last on the top. Car was a rocket, team was on point but the typical hacks always have to rain on the parade. Weāll be back next week for redemption! Thanks to all my sponsors and crew.
